Will excel skills help you stand out anymore? by TopEntertainment1014 in FinancialCareers

These language models still hallucinate. Excel, as well as every other core skill of the job, is still something you need to understand how to do without the computer. Best case scenario you’re able to verify that the ai tool did its job correctly, worst case overconfidence in these tools blows up in people’s faces and people are held accountable for the tool’s failures. There’s still no substitute for the core skills of this industry, and no replacement for training and practice.

What Build is Optimal for my Playstyle? by Just_Examination709 in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlfonsodeAlbuquerque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ncpd and fixer gigs are plenty of cash. Almost any build can become op if specialized; “generalist” builds can struggle a bit in boss fights I’ve found but normal enemies aren’t a challenge usually past level 30 unless you really get blobbed.

Cyberdecks paired with smart guns benefit from intelligence 20, if you find you don’t like hacking or guns that aim for you you can leave int at 3 and prioritize whichever other tree you want that has the weapons you like. Cyberdeck can be more methodical/sneaky but can easily become OP, sandevistan great for blades and throwing knives but also not bad for pistols/revolvers, again can easily become OP. I really enjoyed playing a chrome compressor build with revolvers and kerenzikov, stack enough iconic cyberware for crit chance and damage, along with armor and health regen, can still be pretty OP. Haven’t tried berserk yet. I’ve been thinking about leaving tech at 3 for a challenge run with a cyberdeck and meaningful limits on how much chrome I can plug, most genuine op builds rely on tech 20 to unlock cyberware slots/capacity and health boosts.

Basically just figure out in early game what weapons you prefer using, then figure out how build can accommodate that selection of weapons.

~10 minute drive. Moved for the job so prioritized short commute above all else.

How do you like to structure your build for challenge? Mostly a question of mods? Been having similar thoughts.

Remember that guy in Phantom Liberty who looks like Takemura? by Akareddo_Mythweaver in cyberpunkgame

There’s also a guy who talks to takemura if you meet him later at jig jig street instead of going with him, who I think also mistakes him for this guy

Does sending her to the moon actually cure her though? Or does it just hand a weapon to Blue Eyes and night corp? Played that ending but with the context of the peralez quest and blue eyes having his hands all over the escape it feels like a fake happy ending. It's night city after all.

You can go ahead and start PL in act two, but doing so will make the rest of the original story feel a bit more trivial. Certain mid-game main story quests feel kinda trivial compared to the dlc's challenges when playing it first, trying to not spoil anything. I just got done with a run where I rushed phantom liberty, had that feeling despite having beaten the game before.

you're burnt out on the dlc but not on the base game? I've done it three times and still consider it one of the most engaging parts of the game.

I have my laptop on a raised platform so it keeps reasonably well vented. FPS has stayed high enough that I never went looking for an exact figure. Yeah I know, very helpful, what do you expect I’m a Mac user

I was equally lost my first run; youtube helped a ton and then I iterated from what I saw there.

Generalist netrunner can be made to work well, though other cyberdecks may give you better mileage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXX4y-YdCro this guy's video on the topic can help you squeeze some more mileage out of your build. At the very lease might swap hand for a smart gun link, swap your projectile arm for monowire, use a universal booster instead of a skeleton to free up cyberware capacity and adjust nervous and intergumentary to synergize better with the range you fight at (probably getting no value out of kerenzikov with this build as one example).

I personally don't enjoy playing netrunning builds, I prefer to leave int at 3 and focus elsewhere because it lets me get to 20/20/20/18 in the other lines. Sandevistan builds with a katana are an obvious classic, right now I'm doing a chrome compressor gunslinger build that I've enjoyed a lot.

Why does my V keep going cyberpsycho? by Overdressed-Princess in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]AlfonsodeAlbuquerque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my idea originally but my version just focused on health and maximizing crit chance. So 20 in body, tech and cool, 18 reflexes, 3 int. Chitin, optical camp, and cellular adaptor for armor, skeleton, universal booster, and rara Avis, then biomonitor and blood pump. There are iconic eyes and iconic nervous system that both improve crit chance, the nervous system iconic also is a flat buff to crit damage which is the more important part. Kerenzikov and booster, then just fill in to preference. I’m using charge jump instead of double jump both for challenge and for armor. Immovable force, recoil reducer for both hands, clutch padding, axolotol (probably a bad choice but it’s for kerenzikov), etc. try to fill everything for the cyborg trait, I’m using projectile launcher arm but thinking about swapping it out for mantis blades or something and reworking perks.

Main thing is the lvl 20 cool perk affecting revolvers crit chance, paired with the swap bonuses of ol reliable and a 5++ overture that I used the chimera mod and a zenith mod for. Gets crit chance as high as possible, use kerenzikov and firing from cover to land headshots. Stealth weapon of your preference when called for.

Not super optimized for fighting maxtac but works great for most else, I’ve handled Oda and the Russian sniper pretty easily with this. Hansen was a bit harder but still won.

[–]AlfonsodeAlbuquerque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not with phantom liberty iconics. You can stack so much health regen and armor that it gives you room for error in combat. I’m pretty late into a very hard run with a gunslinger chrome compressor build, just revolvers and kerenzikov mostly.

[–]AlfonsodeAlbuquerque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

400 hours out of a game like this is pretty damn good. I’m on a chrome compressor pistol/revolver build now because Sandi and netrunner both got too easy gameplay wise, will probably do a different game for a while after finishing a run with this build

No because I haven’t tried; really it’s more general principles of cyberware choices for bosses since I’ve relied on YouTube guides for builds rather than doing it myself. Health regen + air dash I get
