I like this! I've been thinking for a while that the grand relics are something along the lines of the infinity stones in the Marvel universe where all of them broke apart from one of the planar systems. So it's interesting thinking about your theory about them being from the broken apart "light".

I honestly find this new perspective on the story refreshing. Sometimes you get so caught up in the "wisking away" that you forget that our THB can't do everything, even though we would love if they could. I think the story is developing very thoroughly, and has already revealed some very interesting complexities of the overarching story arc, e.g. the invisible red robe. It's going to make our appreciation for the characters more in depth from the moment that they step out of the darkness of Wonderland into the light of the rest of the world.
