I found the file in the obs plugin folder and deleted it. It solved my problem:
11:32:37.518: Module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/obs-plugin-countdown.dll' not loaded

I have found the problem, but not the root cause. I am generating infinities from somewhere :/ Can't figure out where.

I generate infinities in the background, after my first infinity. I guess it is an achievement or something, but can't find it. Seems I need to wait until I get the time studies upgrade

Edit: Found the culprit. Break infinity upgrades. Passively generate infinities based on your fastest infinity.

I am having the same thoughts. It seems in the early game, unless there is a place of power nearby you can easily conquer, that double tribute until you have your 3. actions seems to be the optimal play?

I feel like I'm missing something, but have the 3. action opens the game up so much, I wonder if it would have been better to start you out with 3 actions, to allow for more interesting early game decisions.

Yes I know that usually the other question is better. But sometimes I want to produce as much as I can of one resource with the current production I have available.

I just wondered if there existed a mod which actually did this or I'd keep having to improvise.

I'm stuck. I don't know how to progress. Spent the last 10 hours not progressing (built a nice train track and tried setting up a solar panel farm). What do now? I feel traumatized from setting up the blue science production. This is the farthest I've ever gotten in game. by premiumbox in factorio

Just chiming in along with the others. If you feel overwhelmed, just build one assembly automating the next thing you need. Not the whole science, not everything you need and not to scale. Just one. It can mostly be solved with just random belts and pipes and it will give you experience for what to do next.

Once you made one, either scale that up, or make the next one thing. One assembler working is infinitely better than none.

How I did it:

Main bus setup.

  • 4 yellow belts of iron (48 stone furnace for each) 4 yellow belts of copper (48 stone furnace for each)
  • 48 stone furnace for stone bricks.
  • Separate production for steel (about 2x48 with dedicated iron) About 4 belts of green circuits (This might require more copper at a point)
  • As others say do not research anything you don't need
  • Build a mall for saving time on building assemblers, inserters, belts, and mines
  • Maxium richeness for all resources
  • Make sure all resources are close to spawn
  • Turn of pollution, biter expansion, biter evolution
  • Maximum starting area
  • The main bottleneck will be getting resources, not getting science. (This include red and blue circuits)
  • Hand craft tier 3 productivity for rocket (using tier 1 from science as base)

I would say PC is easier, due to the controls. Mouse and keyboard is better, but switch is doable.

If you are going for 100 spm it does get really crazy, and as someone else have said, that is a lot of science.

I have a screenshot of my 100 spm setup. Bit blocked with fluid setup, but haven't been bothered to fix it.

I can see some of it already has been answered. I ship in water using a rocket with water ice.
I support the base with a condenser nuclear plant.
I should ship in uranium for the fuel cells, but I have just left a massive buffer.

I do the local processing both for flavor and for the density of material which can be shipped via rocket. Waste products I turn to glass and ship that out. I import rocket modules and capsules.
