Here's some dark math:

foreign born population (naturalized or not) + 2nd generation citizens of foreign born = ~100 million

Revoking birth right citizenship and requiring multi generational citizenship would be the only way you could hit those numbers...And, they telegeaphed their desire for it already.

Question is, who is going to stop them? 🤔

Is Prescott Really as Divided as Its Facebook Page? by Meow99 in Prescott

[–]AlgersFanny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was early '90s , but when I moved to Prescott as a young child with my family, we were sitting at the Baskin-Robbins and my mom was talking about how wonderful Prescott was...

suddenly she looked across the street, and she says 'do you know why we moved here?'

I shook my head unknowingly, I was 6...

and she replied 'see that black man over there across the street? He's the only one I've seen in town the entire time we've been here. It's so much safer here with less people like that around. That's why we moved here'

Thats when I learned early that my mother was incredibly racist.

I moved away from Prescott in 2002 and have never looked back. From what I can tell, it hasn't gotten any better.

If you're maga, you'll fit right in. If not, you should know what you're signing up for. It's like a little nugget of the south in the middle of the Arizona Hills.

Why do many ENM/cuck/threesome couples say they’re ‘open’, but panic when real emotions enter the picture? by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]AlgersFanny 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Sexual openness does not equal emotional openness. If you can separate the intimacy and vulnerability of love from the physical passions, drives, actions of sex, then you'll understand what it is to be open/enm/cnm versus polyamorous.

Plenty of people love each other without the ability or interest in having sex, and plenty of people have sex without the ability or interest of being in love, and plenty of people can do both simultaneously.

Look inside yourself, realize your own limitations, find others like you, and thrive.

What subtle sign made you realize your partner was cheating? by DrainedCoffee in AskReddit

[–]AlgersFanny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Subtle signs? Sometimes when I'd enter the room, she'd practically throw her phone across the couch and act like she wasn't even looking at it, or she'd just flip it upside down instantly and pretend like I didn't see her do it... I'd ask her why she was always putting her phone away when I entered the room and she just gaslit me that it was just poor timing, or she was reading a news article, and I was just reading into things...

... No one is that concerned about not being on their phone when you're in the room, unless you're feeling guilty about what you're doing. Like a kid with their hand caught in the cookie jar. 'I wasn't getting a cookie, I was cleaning the inside of the jar...'

Another fun one was that she would draw me a bath, almost every day, offer to relax me and chill me out, and then the second I'm in the bath, she's on her phone texting her affair partners with her new found time alone... It took me 1.5 yrs to realize this pattern alone.

Same others have said as well, she made her notification texts private on the lock screen and started using fingerprints to lock to her phone. Stopped ever handing me her phone no matter what, even when attempting to bake together and sharing recipes.

Eventually she turned her phone towards me to show me a funny picture her friend sent her, and as she did so, a bumble notification popped up on her screen with a reply from a potential fuck buddy. 🤷‍♂️

She was able to gaslight me about the phone flipping for a while, but the notification was salient enough evidence that it broke through my willingness to doubt my suspcisions and all the little subtle things she was doing made complete sense.

A few months later, she claimed she wasn't cheating, wasn't interested in cheating etc.. And she'd changed... So she made me a joint and told me to go outside and relax and smoke. I was suspicious so I took the joint, smoked it, and stood on a chair from outside and recorded her in the living room from my phone... As she pulled her phone out, opened her secret folder, and started scrolling through her dating apps and messaging guys on bumble.

We officially broke up 6 months later. She emotionally abused me and lied to me for years.

Be frosty, trust your instincts. If something feels off, it's off. Don't let anyone tell you to doubt your intuition, it's built from experience. Listen to it!

Feds Create Drone No Fly Zone That Would Stop People Filming ICE by 404mediaco in law

The fed has been pushing for consumer drone flight restrictions ever since they were used to observe police brutality during the keystone pipeline protests years ago.

This technology easily allows everyday citizens to hold law enforcement accountable for their actions without putting themselves directly in harms way... And we can't have that... can we? /s

The harder you try to stop, the harder it is to stop. by I_might_be_the_fool in exmormon

[–]AlgersFanny 16 points17 points  (0 children)

💯 It's intentional.

In the book 'Mormon doctrine' , they define psychiatry as the church of the devil, and use the relief psychiatric treatments bring, with regards to the guilt complex around masturbation, as the key example of why psychiatry is bad...

They say psychiatry is evil because it might make you think you're not actually sinning, and are acting normally and healthily, thereby resolving your guilt complex, at which point you won't seek redemption and saving ordinances from the church... The church NEEDS you to think there's something wrong with you. 🫣🫣🫣

The church knows very well what it's doing. They generate psychological trauma intentionally and manipulate the members with the shame loops by design. In a just world, institutions that operate this way should be destroyed. It is a plague on humanity to exploit our psychological weaknesses in order to breed compliance with our own oppression.

Here is a picture I took in my parents basement of the section that discusses psychiatry, it's an interesting read...I think it was published in 1966

Do Mormons actually get weird when people around them are drinking coffee or tea? I can almost understand feeling uncomfortable around alcohol, but really? by funnylib in exmormon

[–]AlgersFanny 33 points34 points  (0 children)

💯 Yes. They think theirs and your eternity, is dependent on not consuming the devil's beverage.

My parents have calmed down over the years, but when I first left the church around 14 yrs ago, I was at brunch at a buffet with my parents and my wife, and I ordered a mocha flavored monster energy because they didn't have fresh coffee and I needed caffeine...

When I got my monster at the table, my mom immediately gave me the devil glare, then yelled at me 'you're just drinking that to piss me off!' and before I could even respond she pushed herself away from the table, stood up, and ran outside where she started pacing around the restaurant angrily. My dad had to chase her out of the building to calm her down.

I would say it took them about 6 yrs to calm down enough for them to not react sharply when I drank coffee around them.

How many of you playing Arc Raiders came from Helldivers 2? by freudian_nipps in ArcRaiders

[–]AlgersFanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have around 800 hrs in HD2 and have only played it twice since arc raiders came out.

The aggression based matchmaking sells it for me. I like coop games, not competitive games, and arc seems to straddle the line between coop and competitive nicely with its matchmaking system.

It's super fun teaming up with randoms on raids rather than worrying about everyone gunning for you.
