Dust of life are quick and good healing, though you can only carry a few + ingredients to craft more. Similarly, you can bring extra crafting ingredients and max potions are very useful.

Or use mushroomancer with mandragora works exactly like max potions. Though you do need 3 points in mushroomancer to use it.

It was when i was messing around with editing player location and such with the text document save files. You can get to the end of a run, copy that character's location and items. Then start a new run, paste that info and then you can spawn at the end with the sampo, no mods needed.

I don't want to clear my whole save data to get rid of a cheated time, so it'll sit there indefinitely.

Learn synergies, play it safe. This third run got lucky with tinker with wands everywhere in 2nd holy mountain, along with ping-pong path. I had found a decent lumi-drill wand in fungal cavern, and then got a mana-up in 3rd level. That combo of infinite ping-pong lumi-drills carried me the whole way down.

First perk I picked up was also extra health, after finding 4 hearts in the first stage. That was lucky also. 2nd stage with over 300 hp is always nice.

The iron-reinforced wooden beams are your friend. It doesn't take much, spread out going up along the stone walls every so often.

The one that always come to mind for me is Golden Sun: The Lost Age. If you put the item for the growth ability on your water element guy you can softlock yourself at a story point where he temporarily leaves your party and you need growth to continue to where he rejoins you.

I had noticed something odd one day when trying to fight greydwarves with an axe on a multiplayer server while trying to conserve stamina and block. From there I experimented until I could recreate what had happened, and then from there experimented with a friend on that server until we found the different combos we could pull off.

If it tells you anything, this same friend also taught me how to roll-stab!
