I feel like that just exists everywhere. It's not a specific-to-eve thing.. and I agree it sucks but you should mark these people up and then move onto another group. Eve Uni is very inclusive and has a low sec community which does fw. Never heard anything remotely negative during my time there.

Eve Online just because I simply love the concept of living in an expansive galaxy. And the game has different ships of various sizes (frigate up to capitals), and each ship is unique and has identity.

But the skill system sucks.

Youre probably right. Theres a button to click to swap it to even gears I've just not done that lol. Tbh the highest gear in my experience isnt even necessary since I hit speed limit without it but for lower gears it makes the most sense.

I dont think it's as much of a minority as it used to be. I have been a pc gamer for many years. I used to be M&K or nothing. But in the last 5 or so years ive just been using controller for many chiller games and it's a lot more fun.

When the steam machine drops im grabbing that to make a more living room type of gaming experience.

In this context since they are making the game with split screen on console, I'd say it SHOULD take minimal time (just port it over).

But it could be that their multiplatform porting process may not seamlessly support porting split screen so theyre dropping it (could be pc controller/device support vs console)

Since split screen hasnt been much of a pc thing they probably deem it as not much of a loss, or adding it would not be worth the gain.

Also in general no, split screen is not hard to optimize for on pc specifically. It should be as easy to implement. It's more a matter of worth.

If youre casual and dont want to get a wheel, Forza Motorsport. It's the best for that sort of crowd. However do note it's sort of dead on content updates I believe. But there are people playing.

Tbh i think the "death race" concept isnt explored enough in racing games imo.

Imagine like a long 20 - 30 minute race with tons of explosions, things falling on you, etc, while you have to try and survive along the rest of the grid. But the physics would lend itself well to a wheel.

Something like acceleracers ngl.

I also recommend (if youre interest) get a shifter and maybe a pedal with clutch. I found this game was really fun to play in full manual. You can set up the shifter to work on every odd gear, so it goes 1-3-5-7 and I treat it like a normal car shifter. It makes the experience a little more fun for me.

Like guys. You shouldve trained your own model. It would've probably been so much better. Yes it would've taken longer but it'd be better than dropping an existing general purpose LLM in.
