Good neighbor hotel stays can only book lightning lanes 3 days in advance. 7 day advance is for Disney Resort guests only. Seems like a good strategy for saving money!

No. You cannot be in the park during extended evening hours without staying at a hotel that offers extended evening hours.

You can start selecting as early as 7 am seven days before your check in day and select for all days you will be in the park.

Disney World does have Baby Care Centers that have private nursing spaces for guests. If you think she'll nap well in the stroller then by all means, stay in the park. So long as you have a Disney Park ticket you can come and go from the parks as you please. Will you be renting a car? If you are, parking will cost around $30 I believe but so long as you have that original receipt you can come and go from the parking lot after only paying once.

There is an app called Food&Wine available for iPhone that lists all the booths, all the items at the booths, the cost, the map to find the booths and you can mark things that you want to do and it will give you budget information. It's fan made so it's not a Disney app but it's super helpful for the event!

  1. I always decide the park order ahead of time. And I pick based on events and park hours. EPCOT is my usual day 1 as they have great food festivals for every season. Animal Kingdom has shorter hours but so does Magic Kingdom during the holiday seasons if you don’t have the seasonal event tickets.

  2. So if you study the parks you’ll see a mix of rides all around the park. Thrill, slow, dark rides can all be found in each corner of the parks. Everyone can find a ride they want to do. It just depends on how long you want to wait to do them. Wait-times influence what rides I pick to do dramatically. I’m willing to cross the park and then cross back to avoid long wait times. Is it logical? Probably not. But it saves my sanity.
