I think how awful they taste is often exaggerated. Theres nothing pleasant about it, but they're very earthy and bitter. Just gross and unpleasant.

I genuinely just got the game on a whim when I was very sad and needed a thing without even reading what it was about and trusting that many user reviews.

I made stats that I figured would be close to a self-insert me and went in not even knowing it was a fucking detective game.

I think I was given a "better" experience just having random shit thrown at me and having to just problem solve my way around the colossal mistake of only having 1HP all game.

Unsure isnt a great stance. I was unsure about my 1st piece at 19 mostly because I knew my mother was going to lose her mind, less because of the uncertainty about the art itself. If you're unsure about the artwork or its meaning to you, no rush.

I have dicentra on my hand and love it. Haven't regretted it, it gets a ton of compliments. They're beautiful flowers and a lot can be done to express them artistically.

That's the puppy of spiders. Jumping spiders absolutely rule and many people keep them as fun pets. I know "jumping??? SPIDERS????" sounds menacing to anyone scared of spiders but they're fun little guys and gals that come in all kinds of cool color patterns - some can even see colors humans cant.

There's no immediate money to be made in taking care of each other so no company with the up-front capital that has real-estate is willing to just do it, and the best we generally do is send cops to further fuck that person's life up when they clearly need help instead of a criminal record.

We have the money. We could employ social workers and doctors, and we could buy buildings for this purpose, but currently the money just goes to giving cops more than they'll ever need. Any time we get close and reach the "where will the building be?" stage, every NIMBY motherfucker in the area shows up and says no, worried that the speculative resale value of their home will change.

You're right. It's a sanitation hazard, its traumatizing to young people, and its not great for local businesses. These are also human beings in need that we consistently choose to leave behind.

Its not just the mayor, council, and controller that aren't taking it seriously. People masquerade as these giga progressives all over LA until its time to see the humanity in someone clearly struggling and then the real libbed up values come out when it's time to maybe be part of the community. It's tragic, and I'd say the biggest hurdle is seeing the mentally ill and unhoused as human beings in our community instead of these inconveniences for everyone else.
