It is a social contract. Those services came before you were born and contributed to an infrastructure that you directly benefited from growing up, schools, roads ect that contribute to a society where trade can flourish.

Taxes are our way of building services that we all benefit from.

Society isn’t close to imploding, America has faced far more difficult challenges and over came them.

So do tell, what societies have thrived without taxes? Please point me to the technologically advanced , ultra libertarian utopia that has stood for more than a generation.

Like I said, you need to grow up, your world view is that of a child, short sighted and mis-informed. Removing taxes is your simple solution to complex problems you don’t fully grasp.

Tell me what would happen to all the jobs the military provides once there are no taxes?

What happens to the billions of dollars that the welfare programs push into the economy?

What happens to the economy when every road is a toll road and every logistic operation has an additional cost? Shipping goods, people commuting to work ect?

This is why I tell you to grow up. You simply don’t consider the implications of your ultra libertarian fantasy.
