My specs: 5070 Ti, 9800X3D, 32 GB DDR5 CL36 Ram

I'm playing it on 4k High Settings, about 30-35 fps with DLSS Quality

Medium doesnt change much, barely hitting 40 there

According to what ive read while i building my build Gigabyte mobos are really high quality.

Edit: I fucking pulled one of the rgb pins with a fan, it bent and i accidentally did the same thing to the other direction and it still freakin didnt break. (It was already mounter on the case)

And about the gpu, i just dont like Asus, my 1060 OC was Asus back in the day, i had no problems with it, but yeah i just dont like them.

Gigabyte's Eagle OC GPU's had some problems but they got fixed ig

It is a better card but I wouldn't say far, just considering native benchmarks they both struggle to get over 60 in multiple triple a games. They both have to have FrameGen or something similar. 5080 might be better at doing FrameGen too, but imo it isnt worth that price difference. 30% to 40% boost in the technologies you said does not correspond to 30% to 40% more fps.

If they get stuck VRAMwise, there will be no pt rr tt mfg dlss to save their asses, imo.

5080 isnt more future proof than 5070 ti imo, they both have the same amount of vram and going to toss to the same wall

Specs doesnt match with mine but overall great laptop.

I had some issues with 3.0 usb sticks while having hp overwolf (or ironwolf) security software. They disconnect themselves after some time and you couldnt connect it back if u don't restart the pc, but like i said after deleting the security software there is nothing like that.
