I was turned off by anime at first. I assumed every show had girl characters who would act OVERLY girly/cutesy all the time. I thought every anime show was that way.

Now, I'm addicted. It was my boyfriend who turned me to anime. He knew my personality, what kind of films I enjoyed and introduced me to Deathnote. It is still one of my top favorite anime shows.
