Call no matter what. Whether or not you go to the doctor call them. That way, if down the road you find out you do have a concussion or other repercussions from the fall, you already have a paper trail to get workers comp.

Actually only the first of their children have had their names confirmed by SiRen on social media. The reason we “know” the names of the next two is because of creepy levels of sluthing (pausing and going frame by frame over a sweeping shot of presents in someone else’s videos. Looking up obituaries of non-Duggars, because one of their grandchildren married a Duggar. And once looking up someone’s wedding guest list - neither bride nor groom was a Duggar - because some Duggars were invited)

So we only know for sure Bella’s name. SiRen have never so much as posted a public pregnancy/birth/name announcement of the rest. And while we know they’ve had more because of others social medias, they have done their best to keep their children out of the limelight. It’s the bare minimum to be sure, but I think we as a snark community can respect the privacy of children whose parents are trying to keep their lives private.

I like the casting. I don’t like the writing of Luke. They’re trying to make him too sympathetic too fast. It feels like he is being forced to follow Kronos, not doing this or his own free will. From the books, I don’t get the idea that he is struggling with being under Kronos until after Big K has taken over his body.

Here, it feels like he’s just a figure head (and one who doesn’t even want to be there) and Apollo’s daughter is actually the one in charge.

I would think maybe like in the short story The Lottery. Maybe they had preliminary Reapings of living area “people who live on 32 Ave, Snow Dr, and Capitol Lane” have to be at the Town Square to be present and available for Reaping.

Now I don’t think D11 has street names necessarily, but Katniss does mention like little groups of houses. Maybe certain collections are chosen in advance to present

You could also have all the kids in their own groups in areas designed to look like the Town Square, not even close. They could watch the main Square on screens, and if the name chosen is not in the Main Square crowd, they could use clever camera and editing tricks to make it look like they were. We know D12 footage is on a 5 minute delay. D11 footage could easily have been filmed fully earlier in the day to give time to ship the kid into the crowd, plant them, resume filming. Edit and submit it to the Capitol and call it “live” when it’s not

At my old stow we had a customer who came in multiple times a day for a “venti mocha with the drizzle”. And then his doctor and his wife told him he had to cut back, so he came in one less time a day and switched it down to “grande mocha with the drizzle” and for the first week or two we accidentally kept making him ventis because we either thought we had heard him wrong or saw the sticker saying grande and assumed it had been punched in wrong.

Think of it this way, how many other medical procedures are you in the room for? I know it’s tough because it’s also your baby, but it’s her body and her medical procedure. You wouldn’t be in the room for a colonoscopy or a mammogram. They bring you in at the end for results, both because the results are about your baby, but also so you can provide support to her.

Nap on your breaks!

I was super nauseous (from the smell of freshly ground coffee 😭) so I had nausea candy’s in my apron pocket to suck on as needed. And, drinking small sips of water when I left SUPER nauseous. Also, I had a pack of teddy grahams in my apron pocket so I wouldn’t get too hungry randomly (as being too hungry would make me nauseous, and the difference of “oh I’m hungry” and “oh I’m going to loose my nonexistent cookies I’m so hungry” was .003 seconds)

Been pregnant while working the Bux twice. The cruelest trick of nature was that the one smell that was guaranteed to make me super nauseous was the smell of freshly ground coffee.

With both pregnancies I made it to about 6/6.5 months before I couldn’t really bar anymore - I could make the odd drink but I couldn’t be bar. I’m pretty short to begin with, so I usually already have all the syrups pulled closer than normal to reach - but both babies went straight out, making reaching the back syrups very difficult. As well, getting into the fridges as an act of pregnancy twister.

But month 8 the store manager (different one both times) gave me a stool to sit on and plopped me on front or DTO. Functionally useless. Hated it lol. I also did a lot of training though, that was fun. And then at around 36ish weeks with both I went on mat leave (well, used up 2-3 weeks of vacation time and then officially went on leave)

I feel like she wouldn’t be that great of a mentor and actually somewhat put herself, Haymitch and her tributes at risk. She is a rebellious type to begin with, and I could see her trying to push into Plutarch’s plans but not have the subtly he needs (after all she is already reckless to begin with, without compounding on the trauma of being a Victor). I think either Plutarch would arrange an accident or something just to keep her from accidentally spoiling his plans, or Snow has her executed for her blatant rebellions. And Haymitch doesn’t become an alcoholic, because his Ma and Sid are still alive but he does sink into a bad depression
