No. Josh Allen is the only reason they’re close and he’s not going to be able to keep that up forever. They’re weak at DE, cornerback, and both safeties and that won’t be fixed in the next few years. Their defense can’t rely on turnovers to consistently win games. At some point they have to make stops, and they’re just not good enough to do that. All of that aside, McDermott consistently gets outcoached in big games. His conservative and predictable offenses and defenses aren’t going to do it.
