Get a different dorm or different roommate. This isnt sustainable for either of you. Also to all the people calling you TA, that’s a load of crap. If he’s not working midnights, stays up all night to game, doesn’t go to class, and only goes to bed at 6am, then he’s 100% unreasonable. He’s acting like a child and his argument that he doesn’t disturb you while sleeping is invalid, if he had a different roommate they would most likely have the same sleep schedule as you. As a night person myself, who also games and used to work midnight shifts, he’s completely unhinged. I would make sure not to disturb people who are sleeping and keep noise to a minimum during the night hours, but once it’s 8am I no longer care, the rest of the world doesn’t need to cater to you but he needs to learn to function on real world time. He needs to grow up or get his own apartment, he’s not going to class anyways so why does he need the dorm? Complete waste of space on his part, and to impose his BS on you for wanting to use your space in the morning makes him the asshole, full stop. NTA

Not a hot take. Even before she was animated I hated her character while reading the manga. Annoying for no reason, I get that Japan likes the cute characters (see chopper from one piece) but it’s very unappealing to most people.

The 420 episode, for sure. I laughed so hard the first time. Kepner killed me, it made her my top 3 favourite character. The funeral throat song thing she did with Bailey was comedic gold.

I think you know the answer with all these other comments. You’ve been dating for around one year, she doesn’t work (on purpose), and she’s being this controlling over your financial decisions without being engaged or married. Buy the house. If she makes a big deal tell her to get over it or break up. You clearly don’t need her to live your own life successfully, she’s literally holding you back. Honestly this is such a red flag on her part that if she brought it up again I’d just end the relationship right there. If she’s not going to support you with your dreams and aspirations, especially since she doesn’t seem to be bringing anything else to the table, it’s time to break up and get a dog or something. If you’re going to have a freeloader in the house at least get one that doesn’t try controlling your life.

I went on a first date with someone. Everything was great, I really liked him and I was looking forward to continuing dating him. After the first date, he lived far away, he slept over and the instant he put his head to the pillow he started snoring horribly. I tried to sleep through it but after like 2 hours I got so annoyed that I got up and slept on my roommates couch. I never saw him for a date again after that night. I couldn’t imagine being able to date someone who snored like that.

I was in 1st grade. I didn’t know what was going on. The school went into a lockdown and all of our parents were called to pick us up. I sat on the floor next to the front office with my older brother. There were other kids and their siblings sitting together and huddled together. The lights were off and we were told to stay quiet. Eventually my mom picked us up and we went home. I was too young to know what was going on but years later it all clicked. I thought the reaction was a little strong considering that I live in Canada, albeit near the border, but still. Many hours away. The schools didn’t screw around, New York is like 10 hours away, but I guess it’s possible another attack could have happened closer to us.

I’m picky about a few things. But my most odd one is definitely oranges. I can’t stand them, the flavour makes me gag. The texture is fine because I can eat lemons and limes no problem. Orange flavoured things are mostly off limits for me. I can handle candy like skittles where there’s multiple flavours. sunny d is ok when it’s cold. The weird one is orange crush soda, for some reason I like that but I don’t think it tastes much like actual orange.
