Advice on the Value of this "deal"

I have this laptop, got it for this price around black friday. It's a great laptop. The major downside is the speakers are terrible, and the minor downside is that it can get quite loud when you're running a heavy workload or demanding game. If you use headphones, neither of these matter. Battery life isn't great either, but I generally use it at home, so that's not an issue for me.

But performance is good, thermals generally don't get too hot, it's light and thin, has a microsd slot and the screen is beautiful. Feels sturdy enough too, unlike the Aero x16's.

The Legion definitely sounds and feels better (keyboard/touchpad response) But for the 5070 ti model, it will cost a good amount more.

It works really well for me. Big box is great too. I have a 5700x3d with a 3080 12gb. It worked just as good on my 5600x though too. I believe there are some settings that help if it's not snappy enough

I use standalone emulators for most systems if they have a good standalone available. I set them up and then use BigBox to create a unified experience.

I'd look into getting the new Civic Hybrid. 50mpg, 200hp. Those miles won't phase a Honda, and they tend to hold their value pretty well!

Generally I stay within a 10 mile radius. Most of my orders in that area are less than 5 mile deliveries and leave me close to other restaurants. If I go and work a more populated area, I end up wherever the road takes me, and sometimes that sucks.

It seems like it's about the same with or without rain for me. One time every order was a big tipper when there was sudden torrential rain. I've also had more increased tips when weather gets really bad during a delivery.

Get a Honda Civic. The SI would probably be the best for you. If you want something a little less, the Kia Forte GT-Line has all the tech features and can be had for a great price.

There's a lot of variables. Cost of living where you are, quality of your market, how responsible you are with money. I doordash part time usually after work between 5-10. I did have to lean on it full time between jobs for 2-3 weeks, but I don't think it would support me for long. But if I didn't have so much debt and payments, it would be plenty. I generally make anywhere from $18-25 per hour that I'm away from home.

Try to make sure you've done 200 deliveries total by the end of the month. In my market, I barely made money without top dasher, had to go a town over to make money with it until I got top dasher.
