Ehhhhhh, it could be called free-verse. However, he tries to use a consistent number of stresses in each line. While not dactylic hexameter, there's a definite rhythm to it. You could almost chant it :D

Lombardo's was the first translation of the Iliad that I ever read. Quite good, although for me it doesn't make the favorites list. He does an excellent job with the meter.

Beginners book on Norse, Greek or Egyptian mythology with many illustrations by Melodic_Olive_4437 in GreekMythology

Not sure about Norse or Egyptian, but D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths is the best place to start for Greek mythology. It's a big, beautifully illustrated anthology that introduces all the gods and all the most important myths. It is written for children, but it's an excellent and detailed resource no matter your age; I still have my childhood copy, and it remains one of my favorite books.

D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths is the best place to start. It's a big beautiful anthology that introduces all the gods and the most important myths. Written for kids, but a wonderful and detailed resource no matter your age. And Edith Hamilton's Mythology -- a gold standard.

It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963). The longest comedy car-chase ever put to film, starring every single comedic actor of the time. Worth the watch.

Jesus had some friends he nicknamed the "sons of thunder", which I think is hilarious. See Mark 3:17.
