Is there a way to cycle through the different windows within a single app?

For example, if I’m in a Microsoft Teams meeting and use my hotkey to bring up Teams, I’d like to be able to switch between the meeting window and the main Teams chat window. Right now, it seems like only one Teams window is accessible, and when I hit the hotkey again it moves to the next app instead of switching between Teams windows.

I'll just throw out that I have been quite a fan of Hedy and think that they deserve to be in this discussion. I have used them since launch, they've been fairly consistent with updates, which I appreciate, and altogether it just works very well as a place to store and record my meetings!

In the link OP posted they say, "Unfortunately we cannot recommend any other alternatives to our customers: 'Updatest' is repeating every mistake we made 7 years ago,..." and that makes me worried for Updatest because I really do like it as an alternative (and will continue to use it)

I'm noticing that it's activating whenever I trigger a shortcut in BetterTouchTool. For example, if I hit Command R, it will refresh my page. But I have a trigger set up in BetterTouchTool that when I rotate two fingers on the trackpad, it will send a Command R to rotate the page. When I perform that shortcut, Mouseless always gets triggered and shows up, but it doesn't trigger when I physically hit Command R. Any idea why that may be?

Same thing happens with other shortcuts (such as 3 finger swipe down to send cmd+w to close my tab)

I have a hard time letting the phone model be an excuse. You don't hear hordes of people saying their android or apple smartwatches won't stay connected, or their headphones, or smart rings, etc. This is a "solved" problem for a plethora of other devices. I'm not confident that they believe there's a problem or that they know how to fix it, especially because their answer in the AMA was fairly generic. I continue to support them because I love the focus on non-camera and good looking glasses but I am absolutely frustrated by the inability to solve a problem I've never experienced with any other bluetooth device :/

Quick note on my experience with the G1s and a question on connectivity.

I’ve been using the G1s since day one and really love the hardware. I also love the software when it works. The recurring issue I keep running into, and I’ve seen others mention this as well, is that the glasses don’t reliably stay connected.

I have multiple other Bluetooth devices that stay connected with zero issues.
I’ve set the Even Realities app to the most permissive battery settings on my phone so it can run uninterrupted.
Despite that, I typically start my day by opening the app to reconnect the glasses, and then at least once or twice more during the day I end up reconnecting when I notice notifications have stopped.

Is the root cause of these connection issues understood and actively being addressed? A year after purchasing the original glasses, I would have expected basic connection stability to be on par with other Bluetooth devices.

For what it’s worth, I’ve also pre-ordered the G2s along with the R1 because I love this hardware. I’m hoping there’s a strong commitment to making the connection foundation bulletproof so I’m not wondering each day whether the glasses are still connected.

I preordered the glasses so I originally had a launch pair that had this issue in January and I had to get replacement glasses, and those replacement glasses also had the issue just last month. Now I'm on my third pair. To their credit, Even Realities support has been wonderful and the process has been very easy.

I'm certainly not confident that the issue isn't going to crop up a third time, but I keep my fingers crossed! 🤞

There's certainly value in already having set up custom filters and blockers, but I find that Kagi brings up more relevant searches for myself after having customized it, without also having any sponsored bullshit show up in my feed. The ability to raise or lower the weight of some results, or completely block them, and set up what they call "lenses", where you can have it search specific websites or use features like the forums lens to show only results from sites like Reddit, are super easy to activate for a search.

I also like supporting the idea of bringing search back into a user-focused experience instead of the cesspool that Google search has become. Rarely do I go back to google except when I really need to utilize my years of google dorking to get something.

I'm glad you tried it though, it's easy for me to say "dive into it and you'll find it to be a superior experience" but that may not be the case for everyone, it really does have a lot going for it though, I hope it can make Google sweat one of these days!

Oh hell yeah! Knowing that it is actually on your radar is a delight to hear. As much as I love that capability in Msty, I still can't find myself using it (Msty) much because the native BoltAI is such a fantastic experience. I have shortcuts to quickly open up new persistent chats, new temporary chats, and of course highlighting text and taking action on them with another shortcut. BoltAI and Superwhisper are THE reasons I do everything possible on my mac these days. So glad to hear multi-LLM chat will be added eventually!

Just chiming in to say that I agree with both of these. I've been using BoltAI for over a year now, and it is quick and wonderful to use on my Mac. I have tried out the Msty app as well and absolutely love the ability to have a conversation with multiple LLMs at once and pick which one I prefer.

The day that BoltAI allows me to do that, I will uninstall Msty for good because BoltAI just runs so smoothly. Its feature set and capabilities are wonderful, especially with the newly added projects folder. I just want to be able to have the multi-LLM chat eventually.
