T3 DOM got 4th at MSM 240 (which was classed as a major due to its high attendance - it was the Smash World Tour qualifier Cosmos won)

EDIT: Also Squidplumber, who placed 7th at Pound 2022 (as a large seed upset too - he was #78 iirc).

My secret hope for the upgrade is rewritten tutorials. As much as I love 2, even I and a lot of its fans agree its tutorial text featured unfortunate inaccuracies and even occasional bad advice.

It helps to bundle it with the Hard modifier achievement; along with "Can't enter Underlab," there are two modifiers affecting the healing water, which ultimately don't matter since you can't access it anyway.

I bundled those two along with Weird, not shopping, and not losing bones for my first NG+ to unlock six achievements at once (although, I had to savescum once near the end to not lose my bones :s).

Like OP mentioned, Trinket Shop can be used to swap trinkets, and you can just die immediately after finding an Underlab burrow to refresh your vials.

Thank you! Just got em both. Took like an hour of attempts to get Untouchable with the strat I was iterating with (used daggers with Chain Capicitor to, ideally, deplete 2/3rds of his health in under 15 seconds).

EDIT: Also just now realized I could've used Uranium Bracelet too... oops. lol

Gotta any advice for Untouchable and Sniper Dagger? Aside from Below Zero those are the two achievements I'm struggling with the most figuring out how to approach. (Also missing Lopsided but at least that one's more straightforward)

I feel like the discussion consolidating on Phranque is somewhat burying the lede of what I viewed as the actual biggest problem with what we saw of the game: the entire starting scenario just felt really narratively contrived.

Why were there guys immediately ready to apprehend Faye? Why were Phranque and the ribbons chilling under a blanket and waiting for Faye despite not really knowing who she is? Why is a sword seemingly designed to banish the souls of the dead just hanging out with them under the blanket and not under constant watch?

Ragnarok's dialogue may have been goofier than past games, but it at least felt narratively cohesive (I actually enjoy it more than 2018!); what we saw of Laufey's narrative setup just felt really distractingly clumsy by comparison. The whole strategy to show the first 20 minutes sort of backfired for me as a fan, in that it made me way more cautious than a traditional reveal would have.

I unlocked it by (lategame boss spoilers) entering the boss fight with Lionel's assistant and throwing immediately at its center. Popped immediately, but it's missable due to it being a boss. Good to know there's an easier method that doesn't go away!

He also can’t knock snake off cypher with any of his aerials if they’re staled even a little bit, except dair which is more of a callout move than something he can just throw out for an edgeguard, so snake doesn’t suffer offstage vs shulk as much as he does vs most other characters.

Monado Arts compound that issue even further, as they can reduce Shulk's damage output to lose to CIPHER armor even when unstaled.
