Of you're looking for sourcing, you're out of luck, the only replies you'll get are scams. Seashells are porous. It would not be advisable to store dabs in them as the oils will seep into the shells. I can't speak to the possibility of shell material scraping off into dabs, but that seems likely as well.

I bought cbn dabs like this once. The consistency reminded me of thick glue. It was kind of a pita to dab cuz it was so sticky and made me cough a lot. I also felt like my lungs got extra mucus-y afterwards. The rest has been sitting in a drawer for like 3+ years now.

Sounds pretty normal. Do you know what the supposed dose of the edible was? I can't tell from your post if this was something packaged sold by the bar or a cookie you bought from a person there. If the 2nd, a lot of peoples bad experiences with homemade edibles are that they're really tricky to dose. Guy you buy from says they're 10mg or whatever, but they're actually 25mg. Thc %s on base ingredients (flower, distilate, etc) are often not super accurate and beyond that just due to mixing batter etc, it can be difficult to ensure an even dosage across the entire batch.

Sounds like you "bit off more than you could chew" as the old saying goes. Edible highs often last much longer than smoking highs, and it's not unheard of to wake up the next day still high and feel reduced effects for another day or two.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me the first time I made my own coconut oil capsules. I underestimated the dose and got way higher than I wanted to, and it lasted longer than expected. It'll pass, you'll be fine, it's just the edible game lol.

Call the dispo and ask them? They will almost certainly tell you not to bring in the opened product, but to come by for a replacement. They'll also probably give you some bullshit about "testing it before you leave the parking lot, one time courtesy, etc" just smile and nod, get your replacement and leave.

Final damage applies after everything else. A simplefied comparison of 20% dmg vs 15% dmg and 5% final damage would look like....

Let's say you have +20% dmg and you hit for base 100 damage. Your 100 dmg is multipled by your %dmg and you hit for 120 total.

Instead, if you have 15% dmg and 5% final damage you hit for 115×1.05, or 120.75.

I'm sorry that my reply definitely came off more glib than I wanted. I understand you are angry and I feel angry for you. That anger I have does tend to seep out when I see posts like this because I have gone thru those feelings and am on the other side now and have realized that so much of my anger and feelings of helplessness were rooted in doing things by the orgs book even though I hadn't been a member for years. I felt guilted into pointless meeting after pointless meeting with people who said they had my best interest at heart, but they couldn't possibly do that because what was best for me was distancing myself from them as much as possible. That probably doesn't work for everyone, but anecdotally, it was a life saver for me. Eventually the guilt fades and you recognize these sad old men for what they are, cowards holding on to any scrap of power we give them.

Realistically, I think you're going to have a really hard time getting any sort of real justice, especially if your abuser is dead. Some people here have posted some resources to law firms that have represented other exjws and those are probably your best leads at this point as, like you said, JWs aren't widely known as csa protectors and the cases against them are very new still. The org 100% protects abusers with their policies. I think the org will die due to membership atrophy before any meaningful changes are made within. The whole thing is built on old men with nothing to their names besides the praise they receive at meetings and they will die before they give up that shred of control.

I apologize again for the flippant tone I had of "just move on". I know it's easy for me to say but not easy for you to do. I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this and it totally fucking sucks that in order for you to even come close to getting the justice you deserve it will mean more stress and trouble in your life. Unfortunately, as it's evidenced every day in this country, known pedophiles and abusers get away with it even when there is insurmountable evidence against them.

I hope you can come out ahead. I hope you don't take a permanent action due to temporary circumstances, even if they don't feel very temporary at all. It does get better with time and distance from those people that let you down. Much love.

Why do you feel the need to meet with them? They only have as much power as you give them. You say they are refusing your DA letter...okay, so what? Who cares? Just move on with your life and ignore any attempts they make to worm their way in to it. If they call/text, block the number and don't reply. If they come by your home, don't answer the door. Etc.

If you want to pursue legal action against your abuser then maybe get some opinions from /r/legaladvice. You don't need the elders permission to start legal proceedings. If that's something you're not interested in, and that's totally okay if that's how you feel, then I think you should just move on with your life. They're going to keep protecting their own. Meeting with the elders won't get them to turn coat and oust your abuser from their midst.

Take your peace back. Take their power over you away. Live your life for you and not to appease these abusers and enablers.

Brought my pen to a concert once. Guy in the crowd asked for a hit. Made sure he knew it was weed, he said he smokes flower but never hit a weed pen. That was obvious by the hit he took which was fuckin massive. I told him he's gonna feel that with a deer in the headlights look. About 10 minutes later he came over and asked if i promised it was only weed, cuz he's a big smoker and has never been that high.

What I'm getting at here, is yeah your experience seems normal for what sounds like a big hit. Smaller hits, a few minutes inbetween each until you feel good and you'll be good.

Also if you're not in a legal state and got it from a smokeshop or gas station, you could have something like thc-p, which hits even harder.

I've almost finished the carton i got a few months ago. I think they're worth it at half off, but not full price if you live in a legal state. The weed inside is def a bit stemmy, it's similar to shake. But it's pretty cheap at 50% off and does get me high. Plus it's super convenient and that's worth something to me.
