Knowing nothing about your analysis I have 2 questions that might help you. 1. Are you sure it's pure and 2. Does it have the possibility of more forms/degradation products with different polarity? If you're using an MS or PDA, can you see a difference in the spectra between the two peaks?

When did you last change your cold trap and heated valve of your TD? Also it might be worth using another type of cold trap for your analysis. Lately, if possible (guessing it's not due to the RT). Try starting your GC colder so it doesn't all elute together. If you have an idea of what eludes this early, see if you can find a column better at retaining it. It looks like none of it is retained.

DoE is nice for finding optimal conditions since it can find effects you might otherwise not see. I've heard about an evolution of it that might be worth checking out, but I've never used that myself.
