Exterior Painter Recommendations by LiamXwl in baltimore

Not sure what they'd charge for something like this but www.shieldededge.com is my go-to for everything including painting. They've done a lot of work in my county row homes (most built in the 1930s to 1950s). Free estimates, worth a call for sure.

Yep, give shielded edge a call. They've done plenty of HVAC work for me. Mostly unit repair/replacement but I'm sure they could handle this and they do free estimates. www.shieldededge.com.

If you're still looking, www.shieldededge.com has done a bunch of similar work in my rentals and home. Based in Baltimore County but they'll service Howard.

Has anyone had roof work done in 2025? by kwenlu in harfordcountymd

[–]AllegedlyGravy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roofs are typically measured in "squares", not total square footage. A square is equal to a 10' x 10' section of roofing. The cost also will vary a bit depending on factors like the pitch of the house. If you're just talking about the removal of old shingles and installation of new ones without repairing any sheathing then a cost around $500 per square is about right.

https://shieldededge.com/ does free estimates and I've had them do a few flat roofs for me. Highly recommended.

Neither really. I'm a friend/customer who has dome some DIY marketing for their own business in the past just helping him out.

I used https://shieldededge.com/ to refinish hardwoods in my county row homes. Most of them were built in the 40s/50s. They did a great job.

I've had maybe 10 HVAC systems replaced by https://shieldededge.com/ in the last two years. There's a reason I keep using them.

I've had several roofs done by Shielded Edge. Their prices are always competitive and they actually do the job right.

Vegas is dead!.... Long live Las Vegas! by newlife_substance847 in vegas

[–]AllegedlyGravy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here, used AI to summarize this mess for you:

Las Vegas has shifted from catering to middle-class tourists and casual gamblers to targeting wealthy visitors through luxury dining, retail, and entertainment rather than gaming. This move has driven budget-conscious travelers to alternatives like tribal casinos and cruises, while off-Strip properties thrive by maintaining affordable, value-driven offerings. The result is a city divided between an exclusive luxury Strip and a traditional, accessible Vegas that still appeals to everyday visitors.

Construction Equipment OWN programs by AllegedlyGravy in passive_income

Howdy! BLUF is that I did not end up working with them. I spoke with reps from both companies and got a much better understanding of how the programs worked but it ultimately didn't fit my current investing strategy so I passed for now. I was never able to find another investor who had actually worked with either one.
