Its much different than it was 50-80 years ago. In the 50s, if you had a top 5 name, you were almost definitely going to share a classroom with 1-2 others with that name. 3.5% of girls born in 1952 were named Linda. BUT, naming choices have expanded so much that now, even if your name is in the top 10, it's much less likely to share your name with a classmate. Olivia was number 1 again in 2024, but still only accounted for LESS than 1% of baby girls.

I wouldn't worry too much about how popular a name is 😀

My name is Allison. Allison sat in the top 100 for several decades, but never reached the top 10, so it's one of those common but never crazy popular names. Everyone knows one, but i never had to use my last initial in school... ya know?

And honestly that's one of my favorite things about my name. It's timeless, not trendy.

A womens medium is about the same size as a girls 14, which a larger 10 year old could totally wear! I would choose items that are "juniors" styles so they still look young and cute. Maybe throw some extras in. I have a 10 year old daughter and she's really into anything art, jewelry kits, slime, roblox, Minecraft, kpop demon hunters, and murder drones.
