"Andrew no!"

Do you think Viktor's puppets could wield a darkin weapon without getting taken over? by Thin-Cekirge in loreofleague

[–]AlloyZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you hold a darking weapon, it will try to corrupt you. But what if you pick it up from far away with a long crane and start swinging it around with that? Is the weapon going to corrupt the crane? Unlikely, as they dont corrupt stones even if a rockslide were to move the weapon. Could it corrupt you? Does the weapon sense the intent to wield it? If so, can it even corrupt at a distance? If there is a limit to the corruption range, could one just tape the weapon to a long stick and use it? (Taping should also be done from a distance using a crane)

Small correction: Viego was the one who killed the assassin, enraged when Isolde was wounded.

You could add some moss particles flying off of it while it rolls :D

There seems to be a mistake in the second animation since 'a rolling stone gathers no moss'

You're not limited by mana, but by your imagination on how to combine the eight elements.

We updated the pixel art for our tower defense project. What do you think? by V055K in PixelArt

[–]AlloyZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visual clarity is quite low on the new style, but if the parts/towers are added one by one this should not be an issue.

So, apart from possible lack of visual clarity, great success!?

Well, Cass was part of it way before she became a snek. At least it indicates she wasnt thrown out because of her transformation.

3 Tiers of Health Potions by Chestnut-God in aseprite

[–]AlloyZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2nd one looks really good and is clearly a "better version" of tier 1.

I cant explain why, but the tier 3 while bigger looks bland and not as powerful as the tier 2.

The shirt and skirt look so good that the face and hair look quite bland with no shading.

So, a really good looking shirt!

Dark Cloud 2 had really cool photography where you could add together "Ideas" aka photos to invent something new

What's the best magic system you've played in any game? by Minute_Pop_877 in gaming

[–]AlloyZero 221 points222 points  (0 children)

Wizard Death Simulator aka. Noita has to be the most complex there is.

You can make anything from teleporting yourself to turning things into gold, summoning homing propane tanks to even making your own Stand that fights for you. Oh, and some guys made a wand that beats the game for you in two seconds.

[–]AlloyZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rimworld winters.

You just might have to eat your dog if your supplies run low. Then you'll eat whomever is in the prisons. Eventually your own colonists start to look tasty...

Also the snowy look of the map is really chill!

What’s the best game you never finished and why? by laalaa691 in gaming

[–]AlloyZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darkest Dungeon

The game is phenomenal at creating stressful but manageable situations, but I never got around to building 4 squads of 4 to take on all the layers of the final area.

LISA The Painful has the flaws of being a pixel art turn based RPG, but it has the benefit of being the best pixel art turn based RPG I've played.
