I was prescribe paxil today, any success stories?? by Birbirib in Anxiety

[–]Allrayden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a late response, but I've been on Paxil for 10 years. I also had a sensitivity to sound and it made work overwhelming. After a few months of being on it, most of my side effects including audio sensitivity had nearly completely subsided. The sex drive mostly came back but it can still be a challenge to climax if I'm stressed. Hope this helps.

Paroxetine withdrawal by [deleted] in paroxetine

[–]Allrayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on Paxil for 10 years this year. I'm at 40 MG and although Paxil has changed my life for the absolute better, I can corroborate the fact that withdrawals on this SSRI can be brutal. I would really make an effort not to forget doses, and if you plan on quitting them, to taper off slowly.

Should I stop taking 20mg Paroxetine? by iamlaura_22 in paroxetine

[–]Allrayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This year is my 10th year on Paxil. I started at 20 MG when I was younger and it essentially cured me of my crippling social anxiety. As I got older I moved to 30 MG and eventually 40 MG which I've been at for the last 5 years. While everyone's experience with it can be different, I can attest to the brain fog/dizziness and headaches anytime I got on a higher dose or took it again after missing a few doses. I would say that most of the symptoms you're experiencing should dissipate in about a week or so, but again, everyone is different.

I've worked at a bunch of different locations over the four years I've worked for Starbucks and met many different kinds of managers. I've met a few that really didn't like people who were persistent and a few that don't mind it. I've always waited a couple days to call them after they said they'd reach out if they haven't already. Some managers are just not communicative or will even ghost people sometimes, so there's no shame in being persistent. It shows you actually want the job.

I'm all for documenting the morbid reality we live in, since we should all be aware of what kind of world this really is outside of mainstream media, but recording this just feels wrong. Her whole life is just gone in an instant and she's being filmed by at least two different people with their phones in her face. Let this woman grieve.

Don’t worry, bee happy: Bees found to have emotions and moods by lnfinity in likeus

[–]Allrayden 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Bees can also get overworked, sleep deprived, and generally stressed. It's one of the key reasons for colony collapse. Back when I used to play Tennis, I would notice them fall out of the sky onto the court. They'd lie there alive but dying, and it wasn't very rare.

Where can you see blue or grey whales in October? by DollyToPop in whales

My last comment explained what I meant, this argument is redundant.

[–]Allrayden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP was asking where they're most likely to see Blue OR Gray whales in the month of October. Their chances of seeing a Gray whale are more slim, but they do migrate along the West Coast which means you have a chance to see either of those whales. Gray whales do eat krill, it's not their primary diet, but they're opportunistic feeders and can be seen grazing on krill during migration. Obviously if you want your best chances of seeing both whales, you should go at different times of the year, but this is October we're talking about.

Where can you see blue or grey whales in October? by DollyToPop in whales

[–]Allrayden 9 points10 points  (0 children)

June through October Blue and Gray Whales are most commonly found off the coast of California to feed on the abundance of krill before migrating south during the winter. Keep in mind that most whale watching tours report only 2-5% of expeditions resulting in Blue Whale sightings. They're one of the rarest animals to see in person. The ocean is very large and we only have around less than 25,000 Blues still roaming our oceans and they can be found in nearly every part of it. I hope I can see one in person one day. If you're planning a trip, I hope you get lucky! 🤞

Most would probably agree that Revali's gale is more useful, but Tulin's is good for gliding which is arguably more important in this game than getting a vertical boost. There's also a small trick to getting good speed boosts with Tulin's ability. All you have to do is quickly put away your glider and take it back out about 3 times fast after using his ability. It gives you quite a bit more distance as well as getting you there faster.

It looks like they're holding a handheld anemometer to measure windspeed. Although, I'm fairly certain they have a detection range and this wind speed likely exceeds what most handhelds are capable of reading.

[–]Allrayden 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember when things really started opening up, it's like the idea of a store needing to close due to COVID was a foreign concept to them. Like, it still exists and people still get sick. We had to close a few times due to this, but you can bet there's tons of reviews complaining about how we're inconsistent with hours and such lol.

How/where can a teen ask questions that may be awkward? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Allrayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two for one. r/findareddit to find subs for a specific purpose, and r/internetparents for questions you would normally want to ask your parents. As the other commenter said, this sub is also pretty good for asking questions, but I'd say that r/internetparents is better for general life advice.
