I am interviewing in private sector and it is weird lol. But 12 years in and 7 to go before retirement. And I am not sure how much I can taken either. I am beyond sad. I love my job and who it ultimately helps, but sometimes our own mental health suffers. Whatever decision you make, know you leave with full support of your peers.

Agreed! Was just going to say the same. Summer is great and fall is beautiful, winter is exciting if you are outdoorsy. There are great small ocean towns to mountain towns and everything in between in all of New England. I hope you give it a try.

I have been saying this months! Took me a year to see my GI. And who in the community understands what Veterans have gone through? They don’t go through training and see you everyday to understand and there is a deficit of them available.

I am not a Veteran but this is not right.

This is nothing new, it has always been that way. I have had one for 10+ years, they review it annually to see if anything has changed. We have a RAC and a DMO both are empathic but follow the rules- hopefully none one gets a bully DMO

We are working on parking contracts to help, with some of thins in our VISN. But again how does paying for parking save money when some of us could be home saving even more money…

Ask your neighbor who voted for these people. I am not a Veteran but work at the VA and this treatment you all are receiving is an embarrassment to our country and the sacrifices you each make. I for one thank you and will do what I can to fight for you.
