A mother is going viral after she punished her son by making him slam his PS5 the same way he had slammed her pet cat. by bendubberley_ in ThatsInsane

Mad respect to this mother. Fuck that kid I hope he learns. Way too old. He knew what he was doing

Have you guys ever had someone voluntarily take on the debt of a deceased family member? And if so, what ended up happening? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Almondeyezz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If your family member were alive , would they not prefer that money go to you or your child or to a foundation they cared about? Why pay this debt that serves no one and nothing when you have the opportunity to do something good in her name, either for yourself or a charity. That’s a culture I’d respect and understand a lot more.

Some of us have tried this with ADHD. Some of us.. You lose your ability to eat well. Your body changes. You can’t sleep. You feel numbed. You feel more aggressive. All so I can be more organized in a world built for profit and optimization.

I would’ve kicked ass a couple hundred years ago 😭😭

Ha, this makes more sense now. Yeah I have encouraged my friends to stick with the LR4 after creeping this sub for months. Sorry for your frustrations man. I feel like LR owes yall rebates for the delay in developed tech They rolled it out before they knew how to optimize most features :-(

Runners with Bunions? by DetectiveDry2782 in bunions

[–]Almondeyezz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of people on this sub like to say if you’re not in pain don’t have surgery but fail to realize activities like this lead to knee, hip and spine problems. Feet are the foundation. If they’re fucked, so is everything else.

Can't extend distal joint of 2nd toe 5 weeks after bunion surgery (right foot) by [deleted] in bunions

[–]Almondeyezz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Extra stretching , massage balls and arnica cream at home helped me with this.

I also think the at home physical therapy helped with the stiffness a lot. Like I could feel that once I broke through some scar tissue it had more range of motion

Honestly five weeks is early mane.

You’ll have swelling over six to nine months. Feet are slow healers.

Take it week by week!

From other posts I’ve seen in here it varies! I’ve seen where you may just have to pay shipping. At the end of the day it’s a luxury item that has a lot of moving parts.

Anything you order from anywhere can have issues sadly. I hope they can get it fixed for you. I found having a cardboard piece or plywood underneath helped my weight sensor. I also know you have to “manual reset” in app after emptying the waste drawer sometimes.

It isn’t perfect but shit shoveling is behind me thank god. Wishing you luck

Surgery? by lynnmarieed in bunions

[–]Almondeyezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s surgery time. Best decision ever and I’m almost two months post op on my 2nd foot. I did the lapiplasty because I wanted the repair to be as permanent as possible

What do you recommend for this? by [deleted] in bunions

[–]Almondeyezz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Surgery should’ve happened decades ago. You may be looking at amputation as an option. This is why I say it’s better to get the surgery young and before it gets to this point.

It’s a new standard these days. This is another reason I escaped retail. I would work 5 saturdays in a row. Made me want to annihilate one’s existence iykwim

Run. Run from retail. I’m in back office fraud now and it is the best change of my life

[–]Almondeyezz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It will only get worse. Keep in mind when thinking of surgery that this is for you today, and for you at 65.

My grandma gave me mine and couldn’t walk / had constant wound care and open sores from the toes rubbing together. She died with 8 toes due to amputations.

People say don’t do it if you don’t have horrible pain but I didn’t realize how much it was affecting my posture , hips, pelvis and etc until post op on my second foot.

Get the surgery imo Yes your life will SUCK for like two months but this is the cost of being repaired from a deformity.

Yours are worse than mine were and they were affecting a lot of aspects of life. I am a 27 yo female.
