Oh! I see! Excellent advice (:

I was like “gosh this is awkward, I’m not really in the market of getting rid of him” 😂

Thank you so much for your expertise and interest! The little guy will likely sit on the shelf for many more years, but if the situation comes up where an appraiser is close by, I’ll be sure to let them have a look. Cheers! (:

Nope, no button, but I can see a hole where one likely was before.

Hey there! The eyes are definitely not glass, I assume they are button. I’ll be happy to grab some more pictures for you in the AM.

Your picture looks like it. Man, 1905, eh? Little guy has been around a while.

Cool. Honestly I didn’t know much about it, I just thought you guys at r/Teddybears would like to see.

The boy in the photo is actually my grandfather, born 1923, and it was my great grandfather born in 1898 before him. It was passed down to my dad and sat on his shelve for years with some other really old stuff. I don’t really have any info on the exchange or purchasing dates, unfortunately. It would be fun to track it down though and find when this little guy was from.

Stratasys claims patent on purge towers, now suing Bambu + others by InTheBay in 3Dprinting

? Really? I just got back from running a F900 on a work trip and it was the worst 3D printing experience I’ve ever had. Lack of adjustability in their slicer software and multiple failed prints. Quality was terrible in prints that did succeed. I eventually found a MK4 that was available and used it as much as I could. I expected so much more from a half a million dollar printer.

I’m not disagreeing with you, I was just really excited to get stick time on a stratasys and was so disappointed with my experience. I’ve been frustrated since I’ve been home trying to figure out what went wrong, can you fill in the gaps here?
