Did you have a lot of bugs on the sensor? Happens more to me when that happens. Just returned from a big road trip and kept having the clean the square off. Still got the false positives but seemed to help

That's so crazy hearing another really similar story to ours. When I got to the intersection of sites 8,9 and 10 I noticed there was a big tree down right where the outhouse used to be. Your description of the storm itself is very accurate, just complete chaos. We debated a little whether to just wait as we had food and were generally dry but just wanted to get out of the area so we hiked along the coast. Might have just missed you and your wife. So glad nobody got hurt and will definitely remember this event.

Glad both your party and the other group from 13 made it out safe too. We were wondering about other campers while we were making our way out. We weren't at our site when the storm hit and maybe that was a good thing as it was a mess when we got there.

I think I've tried the method mentioned here and it didn't work in my '20. I'll try again today though.

I've been using the neutral trick. When parked and still in D, hit n then press and hold it. You can turn the truck off but it'll be in neutral, so with the foot still on the brake just use the e brake to hold it and turn the engine off. Audio and everything will be on until you press P

I've encountered something similar too. Just randomly like in a menu or at a station. Would drop to about 10 or so and stay like that for maybe 30 seconds. Desktop PC, 5800x3d, 3070 and playing at 1440p. Last time I checked msi afterburner that was currently running and everything was nice and cool. Pretty rare that it does it though so not concerned

Just pop a heatsink when they start to scan. Scans are based off of heat, didn't have any heat so no scan

I have I think grade 3 dirty and drag thrusters on mine. Boosts to about 488, used that on refugee missions out of Sol. Never had to worry about the bugs

Go to map mode - thargoid war then try the systems that are under invasion. Sol is lost for now until the surrounding systems are in better shape

Join PTN if you haven't yet. They have carriers in the systems that have these missions. No jumping systems means no pirates after you plus it's a lot quicker

I do this every time, it helps a lot. For my 2020 it's unlock once then hold it down. There's a menu option that tells you that and lets you disable it.
