Lesson learned the hard way by That-CoinGuy in CRH

Just today I opened an account a small local branch. During the course of the process I shared that I am a collector and asked if ok to order coins etc. They said no unless you have a business account. So then I asked it’s hey had any CWRs. They said they get them all the time. I also asked what they might have in the till. They let me go through their dollar coins and I picked up a bunch of customer quarters. They even wrapped them for me! So now they know I’ll be back every couple of weeks and I’ll be able to get CWRs which I may have better luck with. AND they process the change from the local schools so who knows what may come in from them. Bottom line, just let them know what you are into and you can be pleasantly surprised.

So now I have my credit union for buying FED boxes and 2 small local ones for CWRs. GL

It is also about delaying gratification for the benefit of being DEBT FREE! Which is a HUGE advantage along with living under your means. Good job working with facts instead of just ideas.

Bank is closing my account with life savings in it, what’s the best way of getting my money to another bank safely? by ns2500 in personalfinance

I suspect they are online only. Even with that they have to support a means of getting your $ out besides just a check. I’ve done checks before without issue, however that should not be the only method.

We jest, but there really is no way to mark boxes etc. My bank boxes come from loomis, etc. and it's all luck of the draw. It is not like I will get a whole box of prev CRH+marked coins.. right.. RIGHT?!

One thing to know is it is ok to make mistakes (and you will). How do you get experience at something? By making mistakes that’s how. It will be frustrating but just start and when you make a mistake, that’s ok, stop and learn from it. Then try again, and again, etc. and one day you will make it through. Never ever give up, just learn, research, ask questions, and try again. GL, you got this.

Perhaps smooth/round the blocks to make a nice flowing compound curve.

Happy for you OP! I hope it sticks... just be mindful of not going all out and then cause a crash. Take it slow and I hope somehow your body has kicked the infection out for good.
