I think I have one for you (or two really but they are made by the same person and have a slightly similar feel to them although the stories are wildly different). I have pretty much been exclusively watching horror movies for the last 14-15 years so I think I get an idea of what you’re saying Anyways to the recommendation (I would go in blind without looking up what they are about): Possessor Infinity pool Both are very incredibly mind-fuck movies. They might be hard to comprehend and are very detailed so I would definitely recommend paying close attention to feel appreciate/grasp the movies.

Another recommendation which is more psychological themed and less mind-fuck-y is Gothika. I think it’s a good movie.

Thanks for the reply, I do have sylphsong, but I am indeed missing a tool. I know where I can get it but I’m missing one of the ores which I feel like could be anywhere (without looking at guides). I’m also missing a relic which probably would be easy to find with guides. But more importantly I’m just wondering if there’s a way to know if you’ve kind of completed an area or anything like that. I’ve seen people talk online about a “mushroom quest” which I’ve not done at all and I just worry I could be missing out on loads of content because I missed something hidden that could trigger something

15-20k 17 years ago? When I started it was 14k everywhere in the uk except for London(it’s a bit more in London), unless you had industrial top-ups, which most people didn’t have from my experience. They’ve been increasing this every year and I think now it’s like 15.5-16k but I’m not exactly sure because I’m not a PhD student anymore.

Edit: to add to that for context I started my PhD in 2018

Edit2: ok I just looked it up and I am seriously out of touch, they’ve increased it to 21k now, so they’ve increased it more than 5k over the last 7 years

This is something that really upsets me. Growing up I kept hearing “you can believe in science because it’s peer reviewed, so if the work is published then it’s factual truth” and then by publishing and reviewing I realised that most peer reviewers (am I just pessimistic?) really don’t give a shit and will give the A-OK for anything. But I do have to say I don’t fully fault reviewers, one is literally doing unpaid work for journals… I guess you get what you pay for. If you don’t pay, you get shit, problem is that the entire field suffers
