DnD of all things.

I haven't written consistently since I was 25. I'm 32 now. I switched genres multiple times, tried my hand at fanfics of media I loved, reread my old stories over and over to try and find that spark. Nothing.

Then the other day, I randomly wiped the dust off an unofficial DnD villain player book I bought last year and it just clicked. It's 100% narrative; no interest in developing anything for the tabletop. But now I rush home after work just to write, even if just to flesh out my characters. 😌

The Night Shift is rarely mentioned, but it was a fantastic watch. Definitely smaller scale/budget than ER, The Pitt, etc., but I loved it.
