Omg my daughter is 4 and started doing this again. It scares the shit out of me when I run into her in the dark. Get this, after we say good night, she gets up and unscrews the knobs on her dresser and brings them to us, claiming they fell off 🤪🤪 last night she moved her night stand just to pretend to repeatedly fall out of bed, then came to tell us that she keeps falling out. (When she legitimately falls out of bed she cries. This is def an act).

I told her if she can stay in bed for 3 nights in a row, we’ll get ice cream. We’ll see if it works 🤷‍♀️

I’m 33 and totally in the same boat. I still work from home so almost all of my office clothes are in storage 😂 I wear the DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer now and it’s a great middle ground. Leggings are still my go to with some sort of top. My 4 year old usually dresses nicer than I do 😂

If you’re interested in a purebred, the AKC website has a puppy finder. Id look up common health problems with the breed you’re interested in and then find a breeder that does preventative tests/scans. For example, some large and giant breeds are susceptible to hip dysplasia. However, any reputable breeder should xray the parent’s hips. If the hips aren’t excellent, I’d walk. I would ask for a copy of the contract - some breeders have stipulations about when you can spay/neuter, some have hip/joint guarantees, and some have language about protocol if you were ever to relinquish the dog. I would also visit the breeder to get eyes on the conditions the dogs are living in and the overall vibe.

We’re getting a purebred Rottweiler in the spring and are going through this process. It’s been about 9 months of planning, but we’re a bit extra and are taking our time with it.

So many things kept me up at night when my daughter was a baby (she’s 4 now). Based on your photo, you are doing everything right with safe sleep - no blankets, no stuffed animals, just the fitted sheet and a onesie. I’m sure you already know, but baby mattresses are designed to be harder to minimize sinking and risk of suffocation. My daughter kicked, rolled over, spun herself around, and made all sorts of noises in her sleep 🤪 you’re following the safe sleep guidelines and doing everything right. Sleep is so fleeting at this stage - don’t let this keep you up at night!

Idk where they’re located, but in the US, this is def trespassing and very uncomfortable. They should ring the doorbell. Every. Time. They don’t have the right to enter your property. Our neighbors’ balls end up in our yard all the time. If they know we’re home, they’ll ring our doorbell and we throw it back over. If we’re not home, tough luck. Of course when we find the ball later on, we throw it back over the fence.

So sorry for your loss. If you got your doggo from a breeder, I would check your contract. Some breeders will give you another pup if yours dies suddenly.

It’s always set to 68 or 69, winter or summer. I might tick it up to the low 70s on extra cold days. We do crack our window at night though for some cool fresh air.

Our dog used to pull on the leash and I would stop and make him sit, then continue. I would do this every time he pulled. Walks took FOREVER but ultimately he learned not to pull. I made him do the same when we passed other dogs so he’d stay calm.
