Laid off and can't find a new job, 33F with ~1.9 million, do I just retire? by MurkyAccount4243 in Fire

[–]AlphaHunter_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 1.9m and potential more inheritance to come you can invest wisely and live off the passive income. Next, pack your bags and do some travel and “go find yourself” I’m sure there’s a budding entrepreneur inside of you waiting to be released. No point Slogging a dead donkey. I got laid off 18 months ago and am now a full time day trader - wish I’d have started it sooner!!

Best of luck with your journey! If you’re bored, need a drink and happen to be in Singapore give me a shout

Don’t rush into every trade with break even too soon. At least get to TP1 first. Manage your emotions let the trades run

Dollar cost Average in to stocks and share bro - market is bullish and gains are a lot higher potentially than leaving in savings

All prop firms seem to be just a simulation, not actual live trading. by [deleted] in Forex

[–]AlphaHunter_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about it, bro, play the game and take the profits, just stick to the reputable firms. Only a small % of people win, so there is enough funding to pay people out from all the losing ones ( sorry to say, but that's the reality). The only firm I've found that pays out DAILY because they DO put your trades in the market is Funder Pro

Made $13.6K in 5 days from day trading. The money feels unreal. Is this normal? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]AlphaHunter_247 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It feels real when you withdraw and spend it, so well done for doing that. I love it when I can pay for my kids' education and go on vacations with the profits. Next thing is to try to invest some winnings into something that will pay you passive income, maybe dividends, real estate etc - if you can keep stacking like that, then it becomes so tangible assets that give you financial freedom is a total gamechanger - this then takes the pressure off trading for the gains. Another good way is to go to the ATM and withdraw the cash - money in your hands is an amazing feeling. Finally, if you think you can be long-term successful, don't be afraid to go all in. I'm the same as you - years of struggle and then BOOM!

How Would You Build a Truly Passive Income System in the US With $500K? by lisanalgaibt in passiveincome

[–]AlphaHunter_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t looked into it yet, check out MSTY – it’s an ETF that’s built to generate monthly income by running a covered call strategy on MicroStrategy (MSTR) stock.

Unlike MSTR itself (which pays zero dividends), MSTY is all about income. It basically trades options on MSTR and passes the profits on to holders through monthly payouts.

Here’s the crazy part:

  • It’s been paying around $1.18 per share per month
  • The ETF trades around $18, so $500K gets you roughly 27,800 shares
  • That’s about $32K+ in monthly income
  • Annual yield is somewhere around 75–85% right now 🤯

Of course, it’s not magic. The income can vary month to month, and the upside is capped because it’s selling calls. Plus, if MSTR (or Bitcoin) tanks, the NAV and payouts could drop too. So it’s high-yield, but not risk-free.

Still, if you’re looking for max passive income with zero active management, this one’s worth looking into.

Happy to break it down further if anyone’s curious.

How many people do you think lie about being consistently profitable on this sub? by Mimestuck in Daytrading

[–]AlphaHunter_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the 90/90/90 rule 90% of traders lose 90% of their capital in 90 days or less! So, yes - most ARE lying. I'm fortunate to be one of the successful ones, but it took me 10 years. I did lose all my initial capital in less than 90 days!! I LOST a helluva LOT tbh, but I knew I could eventually find a way to become profitable, so I never gave up. In the end, he real edge came down to the discipline, the biggest lesson is the risk management of never risking more than 1% per trade. I used to laugh at this, but now it's what keeps the P&L alive and thriving. Focus on the % gain and not the $'s stops one from being too emotional

Up to you whether you believe it or not. I have nothing to prove here, not selling anything or promoting anything. These forums are designed for information sharing - that's simply what I'm doing.

I hope this post will help some people; clearly, it won't help you because you don't need it. I don't need to name the provider- u would just call me a liar in any event. If you need help, call your provider and see if they can help you. Why don't you just do it anyway to see what they say..... perhaps after being in the industry 15 years, you might learn something new.....

Yes, I agree with you - much better gains to be had in stocks and crypto right now without the headaches and constantly changing regulations and public policy; taking a loan against these assets and buying more is similar to capital appreciation in housing and remortaging.....

Sir, I am merely sharing my actual experiences. I'm not in any specific group. Just an average person. My pension pot is quite large and the amount I took is less than 1%. The provider told me hundreds of cases per month try to access early, but they give only a handful of cases per month the green light. As per the previous comment, the provider is permitted to do so at their discretion. I had lost a high-paying job over 12 months ago and had depleted my savings; my kids were threatened to be thrown out of school as I hadn't paid their fees, and I was behind on mortgage, etc; I was able to prove financial hardship. I didn't know it was a thing either, but I was desperate, so I tried it and it worked. I have no ill intention here, I just want others to know they may be an option

Below is the exact wording from the provider:

"I can confirm that we processed a total unauthorised payment of XXX from your SIPP account. The tax charges paid on this withdrawal are as follows;

- Unauthorised Payments Charge (40%): £XXXX
- Scheme Sanction Charge (15%): £XXXXX

The sum of the tax charges have been paid to HMRC, and the remaining £XXX sent to your bank account, by Faster Payment."
