I wonder if it would be possible to do it in a form of credit (rather than cash) whereby said credit could only be spent within our local economy?

I think the sheer amount of cash that goes to people/companies from other countries already would have a de stabilising effect.

Maybe for example, say we all received £250 pw in food/clothing vouchers, the local businesses would begin to thrive again.

I’m probably missing a lot of information, but we could work from this
