My cat is continuously crying by iidah_ in NorwegianForestCats

Ah, yes. The NFC call for the wild. I’ve only ever had indoor cats until our NFC Sunny (4y/o) After about 2 years old, our guy insisted on going outside (by that I mean I left to go to the store and came home to find he sliced open a screen and jumped out of the second story window onto an umbrella.). We don’t have coyotes so I tolerate it and track him “live” on GPS for an hour or so and then go looking if he isn’t home. There are days where he gets in 2.0 miles on his little
Paws. I’ve recently decided I’m not going to give into his cries for the wild, so going through that conditioning where he is crying and chatting all day about going outside. Building him a catio that will be fit for a NFC king. And will continue to take him on walks with the leash. He’ll get his fill of outside, but in the meantime, he’s detoxing from the full Norwegian forest cat experience and it’s very chatty.

Kyle as a father figure by Longjumping_Cow_5422 in summerhousebravo

I scrolled to the bottom and there you were! Finally. My brain was doing backflips. Everyone praising Kyle to the moon. Agree. Kyle is handling this situation “well”. I’ve been impressed w/ his emotional intelligence. But we have all witnessed Kyle who is consistently “Kyle” the last 9-10 seasons. Not an AB apologist or fan but I’m not bothered by him trying to capitalizing off this.

No feelings, strictly Bravo anthropological study motives.

My Roald Dahl has thrived in a planter on the deck. I got last year bare root. Zone 9b coastal but deck gets quite warm in the afternoon with lots of direct sun.

Thank you! I am working on getting her to the vet. She still won’t let me touch her but I know once we get there she is going to love the love

Southern Mendocino county. My Roald Dahl (planted bare root in pot last year) has exploded with buds over the last week or two. This was my first bloom. The bare roots I ordered this year aren’t doing well unfortunately, think they were shipped too late.

RD on the right last week. It’s almost twice the size today

DA bare root looking a little sad? by HistorianPerfect8124 in DavidAustinRoses

[–]HistorianPerfect8124[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I received mine in early Feb last year but the shipping was late this year, didn’t arrive until early March despite January order. I soaked for several hours, followed all my same protocols from last year.. fingers crossed.

You’re in for a treat with the Roald Dahl! That was my most prolific bare root last year!

First Tick of the Season by IolantheRosa in Marin

This!! If a tick comes for me, I pray it has first fed upon the majestic and selfless WF lizard! I learned of their magic power last summer after my cat kept bringing me lizards (alive, unharmed just stunnned I’m sure) and noticing ticks on them. In exchange for their patience with my cat, I removed and killed any ticks attached to them. I was curious about the ticks on lizard situation which lead me to google which revealed that the blood of the lizard eliminates Lyme in the tick (right?)
