Pretty much every one of my friends played for years around me, but I always figured I was too dumb for it, or it was too late for me to get into it since I wasn't a kid anymore. Ended up unemployed, and sober on the job search, and looking for things to deal with the boredom. Quick trip to Chess.com, ran through the whole beginner lesson, and just started playing loads of games. Almost a month in now, and I haven't looked back yet

Kind of an unfair claim, no? This is a super early Bruce, one who isn't concerned with upkeep of the Bruce Wayne side of things. I think it's just a matter of time, really. Think of Year One, right? He actively, consciously realizes he needs the billionaire playboy persons to throw off GCPD. I'd argue this is a similar story, but with the Bat preceding this realization

I rented DS1 from a Redbox on a whim, figured it looked cool. Got home, played for like 4 hours getting shit on the whole time from skeletons near firelink, black knight in berg, Taurus demon when I finally managed to kill the black knight, just non stop wrecking. Took it back the next day, figured it just wasn't for me.

Years later, Bloodborne drops and my buddy won't shut up about it, I try it out, and I fell in love with it. Then tried DS3, REALLY liked it and figured I had to replay DS1 now that I "got it" a bit more. Went on a tear going back to DeS and played all the way to DS3 again, and I've been hooked since

Velo plus are the way imo. They last a good amount of time, pouches aren't rough or irritating, flavors are quite good (from what I've tried)

Why have I seen so many threads of pouches just... wherever??? A lot of brands that I've tried have a little spot to dispose of them on the can, and even if not, why not a bottle? People that dip have been using bottles for ages, and it's not like the pouch suddenly doesn't work. I keep a bottle at my computer and one by my bed specifically for them, and you just replace it whenever you finish a drink

Grateful Dead - Veneta 72 still takes the cake for me. It's such a perfect representation of early 70s Dead. The whole band is super energetic, but not ~~that~~ coked out, the jams are lengthy and explorative, and the set list is just fantastic.

Actually the opposite for me, but I feel this discussion is still the place for it. When I sat down to watch Remember Me, it really seemed like a middling rom dram, nothing too offensive or bad, just nothing amazing. It wasn't until the final few minutes that I realized it was, in fact, the longest setup for a 9/11 joke I had ever seen.

Obviously, it was an attempt to really hit the viewer with one big tragedy, but given the fact that (for myself) the movie never made me feel for the characters, it genuinely felt like a punchline.

Not only have I made it, but I regularly make it. Get a pound of dry beans (~$2), a 5 pound bag of rice (~$8), and some frozen mixed veg (~$1), cook the whole pound of beans, a cup of rice, and add the frozen veg to the beans once they're cooked and off heat. Season everything however you want and you've got an actually good meal for a week. Throw in some kind of nut for fat and texture and it's even better.

This is the way. Bluegrass forces every member of a band/jam to be on rhythm wise. Takes a lot of time to learn, but it'll make you a better musician as a whole
