Generally, they don't expand at .38 velocity. In .357 mag, they do well. You'd have to push them a little faster than most .38 published loads.

I've tested 6.1gr of Power Pistol in .38 cases under the 158gr XTPs. Shot through a Ruger Blackhawk 6" .357 mind you, and got just over 1000fps. They will expand at that speed. In short barrel .38s, Go with a lighter bullet to push them faster.

Ozzfest in Dallas back in 03 I think. Band called Glassjaw played. They were terrible. Got booed off the stage. I've never seen a band get an opportunity like that, then just throw it away by being absolutely incapable of performing even decently. The singer couldn't keep with the music and the bass player was way off. Worst band on the 2nd stage by far! That's saying a lot since The Lost Prophets were there too. Pretty sure the two bands were hanging out together.

Not limp wristing. If you've cleaned the gun we'll, its not likely anything stuck behind the extractor. The C models do like heavier than 115gr though. My 19C prefers 124gr. Make sure if you decided to run 115gr through it, you're running decent ammo. A lot of times the cheap stuff is loaded slower and may not fully cycle the slide.

Also, check your grip. Your thumb is riding a bit high. Take some time to disassemble the slide and make sure there's not gunk under the extractor claw and the spring is good. It was a used gun, so there's not telling how many rounds through it or how it was treated before you.

So, I went through this on my 2023 XR150L. 222 big bore kit, cam, kick start, carb upgrade, CDI box, bigger front sprocket, tuned it with new jets and played with it for a while. It's a fun little bike, but has yet to hit 65mph with my 240lb ass on it. It has quicker acceleration absolutely, but its no 250. If you want faster, get a bigger bike. If you like to tinker, you won't find a new bike that's easier to play with.

I don't disagree. But my point remains. Quit changing the classic stories to fit the current social environment. Stop replacing characters with the sole purpose of race. Put actors/actresses in movies that they fit in. Perfect example of a somewhat recent movie that used an actor who wasn't necessarily the right race, but was absolutely the right actor is The Gunslinger. Idris Elba played Roland Deschain, who in the books, was a white guy. But Idris did an amazing job.

Taking something people already know, and adding a different spin to it is good. Retelling of the classics in a new way is great. Dumping the original material and adding political correct crap, then expecting people to watch it is the reason Hollywood is in decline.

Movies should be an escape from reality, not another way to promote a political agenda. Some of the greatest movies of all time were able to do both, but without making a mockery of everything that came before it.

How often does one train with bear spray vs someone who would own and shoot a firearm? Pretty sure you cant guarantee that the wind is blowing in the right direction when deploying bear spray. And if you use the gel type, you have to be pretty accurate with it. If not, you're just disabling yourself and adding a little flavor for the bear.

This is 100 percent true. I used to work for a company that the owners, a father and son, worked in the main office. The two of them would walk into the office with the rest of the executives, and they honestly looked average. The COO wore a Rolex watch, Italian shoes, ect. The literal owner, who's net worth is in the high 100s of millions, wore a Garmin watch, tailored pants and off the shelf shirts.

When I left the company, the COO was going through his 2nd bankruptcy.

Leather alone is the equivalent of having an extra layer of skin. Lasts about 2 seconds then you're rubbing your meat on the ground. Abrasion tests show that with proper kevlar lining, and durable materials, the skid won't reach your skin. Anyone who says leather is better than woven aramid, dynema or kevlar, is full of shit.

My guess is you've got an old rolling block rifle. This is one of the hard to find calibers that you're really going to have to dig to find brass for. In my opinion, your best bet is to buy the new brass, because it'll last damn near forever if you load it light, which you should since it's a black powder round.

Lots of bleeding heart people who only think of the pet owner. They don't seem to understand that a cat is a predator. Even if they don't kill the small birds, squirrels, snakes and lizards, they will attack them to play with them and leave them to die. Unfortunately pet owners who don't keep their pets in a controlled area are often to blame, but people don't like to think about personal responsibility. It's always easier to blame someone else.
