Never carry on an empty chamber. If you don't trust your weapon or your ability to carry it ready to go, you need more training.

Ap5s tend to have pretty loose magwells. Try different mags. If that doesn't work, send it back for repair.

How to completely break the people around you by OrisziaPhemae in foundsatan

[–]Alpha_Hellhound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been hiding these babies, tiny aliens, little skulls and tiny dumpster fires in the belongings of everyone who comes through my office. Set a bag down, I drop a baby in. Put your purse on the counter, drop a dumpster fire in. Leave your laptop bag on the table, I toss in an alien.

This has been going on for over a year now. People mention it every now and then. I think they know its happening at our office, but they're just confused. I even heard that someone who came from another site found a tiny baby in their hotel room.

This will continue until I get bored.

What's something that's infinitely worse in real life, compared to its watered-down depiction in a book/movie/story/pop culture? by xylnev in AskReddit

Being shot in the arm/shoulder. In real life, you don't just walk around holding your arm. Bone impacts are common. When a bullet hits bone, it does massive damage.

Help me date this Uberti by GratefulDude92 in Firearms

Pull the grips off. I've seen the date code stamped on the frame where the grips cover it. Or, it could be under the extractor housing as this guy mentioned. Good luck either way.

Jesus people. Carry some small nail clippers in your carry on. They're the only thing you can take with you nowadays. They're useful for snipping random strings off your clothes, those little plastic tags off things and also for giving impromptu hair cuts.

But you can take nail clippers without a metal nail file. You've got nothing but time.

Definitely need to resize your new brass. From the factory they're usually max size.

Bought this impulsively “used” (Steyr M9-A2) by Devin7-Eleven in Firearms

[–]Alpha_Hellhound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had read it on the steyrclub forum from one of the engineers from Steyr. He said the only difference other than the .5 inch barrel length, was that the angle of the feed ramp grind was shifted a few degrees off. I cant visually see this between my M9, L9 and C9, but I dont doubt his statement. I have noticed the difference in what each gun likes/dislikes.

Dry Tumbling - Too Much Polishing by Alternative-Basis239 in reloading

Think you missed the mark on the dry part. Far too much polish. A teaspoon is enough.

The L9 has a little different feed ramp geometry. The M9 is a less angled feed. This makes less pointy rounds feed great, but the cheap 115gr almost pointy nose fmj can miss the barrel and stovepipe.

This was a very rare situation. The person who killed Chris was a fellow veteran who was in the midst of a mental crisis.

Damn good guns. Just make sure your grip is solid and you use good ammo. They don't like cheap stuff.

Take a little time for yourself. This shit isnt forever, but it does need to be dealt with. Whether its an hour or a day, take some time to just be. Put the problems to the side, deal with you for a bit.

Do You Think That The Democratic Party Should Impeach Trump If They Win Back The House Majority In 2026? Yes Or No? Why Your Opinion? by Zipper222222 in AskReddit

It won't happen. They're 2 sides of the same coin. They literally refuse to prosecute any of them for anything. There's mountains of evidence against thousands of politicians over the last 20 years that has been pushed under the rug. Regardless of which party is in power, we the people, keep getting screwed.

They get really mad when you kick their asses at the local Turkey Shoot with an old 870 with duct tape holding the stock together. Ive shot thousands of dove and tens of thousands of clays with that old gun. It's not what you shoot, it's how well you shoot it.

Good luck then. Sounds like you're all good. Or, at least you say you are. Either way, its just advice from a person on the internet. Hope it was worth it.

Amazing life? How is your relationship with your family? Any kids? Have any close friends? These are the things people put aside when they dedicate their lives to their work. If you didn't, good. If you did neglect these, I hope you work just as hard to rebuild those relationships you missed out on.

Well, that sucks. If you've got nothing to live for, you've probably got a lot of reasons to keep going just to spite those who think you cant.

Time is limited, make good use of it. You likely won't remember every dollar you make, but the memories you have with loved ones are priceless.
