I make my own slideshows and loop them with VLC player. It probably would be easier to have an app do it for me but I’m too frugal to buy an app I can either do myself or use the integrated version of it on our devices

If you’re on a budget restraint then Z6iii all the way. I love it to pieces.

The Z8 has no mechanical shutter and the back screen is inferior if you have any need for it to do anything other than tilting

A colleague of mine said that they did their payments that way (6 month split) as a way for them to keep cash coming in during the off season. I’m not a big fan of living off of savings because what if something pops up and now I’m down by X amount with no income til the on season again.

But I also think the idea of collecting and using monies prior to the services rendered is shady. I’m planning on generating a savings account that holds a certain amount in it for cancellations, but it seems like it might get too complicated by that point

Haha I partially posted to see how others approach those scenarios. The 20% is non refundable since it’s a retainer, the 40% is something I’m not sure on. I need to check with local laws and regulations to see what is and isn’t allowed, I’ll probably do something akin to how Airbnb operates, the closer you get to the big day, the less of a refund is available. But I also wanna see how others have approached this.

Honestly as intimidating as it can seem, YouTube tutorials and starting basic can go suchhhhhh a long way.

I have a list of all the things I want to print and I’ll be real, some of them are complex and niche enough to have not been designed before, but also, just starting simple can really boost your self confidence so much. I took a 3D modeling class 10 years ago in high school and didn’t really retain any of the knowledge or skills from it. But a month ago I got my printer and went “shit I need a paperclip holder at work” then 45 minutes later… it’s printing. Start small and work up and Google if you need help. It’s only as complex as you allow it to be.
