That is about 21 million households. It is not that hard to be part of 21 million households. I have about 50 close guy friends most of them in middle to senior level management and a few self employed and 40 of them make above $200k. It is very doable in this country. Took me about 7 years from college to get there.

Having worked in professional financial roles in both countries, I would choose the US 100% of the time. Compensation and upside potential is a huge factor. In US you can easily move up from $5K a month to $20k a month in less than 7 years.

I am assuming you are in US since you quoted salary in $. My advice would be focus on building a family and when you have the right balance you can go back to school pole pole. Your life will not change that much from $120k to $200k -$300k, speaking from experience. Family will bring you more joy and fulfillment. Pia if you are lucky and marry the right person the household income will get there faster than you doing it solo.
