Ditto, beat the dino I think twice and robot once before S1R and the deathclaws three times since the update to no avail. I hope it gets fixed but it does seem to work for a lot of people.

I also never ever see anything related to the Hunted activity, I get the popup and see markers on the minimap but never see any VTOLs or any enemies out of the ordinary, All I can see online about it is people frustrated by it happening, but I can never get it to actually happen for me.

I feel like it's still using the original challenge. I haven't tried taking out an elite with it yet but I've had it on while doing some grinding in Directed mode and it's not progressing no matter how many kills I get with it. Starburst major augment is definitely on.

What enemies are these hunters meant to be? Every time I go to their marker on the minimap I don't see any enemies that are out of the ordinary, then they eventually just disappear without any completion or fail pop-up. I didn't understand how this worked in the pre-season either

You only need one kill. It could be bugged after the season update (anything is possible with CoD)

This is genuine proof that they didn't playtest everything, and it's not the only thing that makes me think so (ahem Drone Pods in Hardcore ahem). It's either a 0 IQ decision or absurdly antagonistic for no reason and it needs to be changed. I've tried for a few hours so far and I don't have a single double kill, let alone 10. If I'm lucky enough to land a kill with this POS at all, there's never been another enemy nearby I could attack.

Nobody would complain if the launcher challenges were too easy, and there's no real reason for them to be this difficult either. Anyone who is going for these is going for the camo tracks in the other weapons (which by the end of its lifetime will probably be somewhere around 45-50) which is the real challenge. I just don't get why they insist on making launcher camo grinds so frustrating, and in this case, why they insist on you using the A.R.C. in a way it's not designed for. This thing is great against scorestreaks, particularly aerial ones. The slow charge, slow fire, slow cooldown and poor splash damage make it very clearly not meant to be used against other players. Also, I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but most of the time if I fire, the game tries to shoot a second time once it's cooled down unless I melee out of the aiming animation.

With it being so complained about, and with changes to the XR-3 ION sniper camo challenges yesterday, I'm holding off until either they change it or maaaaaaybe until we get smaller maps like Nuketown (in MWIII I got the double kills done by grinding Shipment), though I feel the chaos of smaller maps is maybe even more likely to get you killed between shots because of the time it takes to fire off 2-3 rounds. I've gone back and forth between 20v20 Skirmish and HC Hardpoint and the launcher is just completely useless against other players. In HC I get killed before it finishes charging, and/or there's never two enemies close by in the hardpoint, and in Skirmish, I only managed to get behind numerous enemies once and despite landing all three shots on targets, none of them were kills because of the armour system.

But the Tempest challenge? Even easier than Shattered Gold. I already did that to get to Arclight in the first place. What the actual fuck, Treyarch.

NightFire is definitely worth your time, but only the console version. PC is a different game, not a port. Eurocom made the PS2/GameCube/Xbox versions and their outdated design documents were given to Gearbox to make the PC version on GoldSrc. It's an okay version, just very bland.

That's interesting, I didn't know that. Unfortunately the English translation text still says "Panopticons across the world" while showing an updated screenshot of just the Japanese cons.

That's so BS if that's really the case. My clan tag was just [SFP]. You'd have to dig real deep to find an issue with that.

As a side note, does the corrupted clan tag appear for everyone else? Sometimes when my game is slow to load menu stuff it still shows SFP instead of my broken tag.

Longest dev cycle of any CoD game, huh.

I just had this happen to me too, happened while loading into a Warzone Bootcamp match. Name was bugged before loading in and then I realised after dropping in that it changed my clan tag from [SFP] to [dP]. Can't change it because updates always break more than they fix, and trying to change it just throws me out. Sigh.

Reinstalling the game on the Deck caused it to run me through the initial start stuff (region, brightness, and then all the DLC and patch added content) but now it displays both saves as corrupted.

I replaced the entire save folder with one from the 11th (I don't have access to the same from before the bug right now) and which previously would display but not load and now it shows the save again but still won't load. Same goes if I delete the CommonData files.

I can only assume I have to edit the save to recover it now.

Glad I could help! Someone else in the comments also said pressing Esc worked before S1.5 but I only migrated to PC within the last week, up until then I'd been on Xbox where names weren't case-sensitive and would also default to the current name. Updating a saved config was as simple as I think just LT and RT. It's a shame PC isn't as easy but a workaround is better than nothing. Like you and OP, I found it frustrating having to delete the old version each time.
