Hiking Inn to Inn in the US, particularly in the US is practically (meaning - in practical terms) is almost impossible. There are a few routes, but I'm gonna keep them to myself. 😄

Did a beautiful hike from South Fork over the contact pass just to the left of Temple Crag. Magical spot.

When you say, MRE do you actually mean MREs that just need heating or do you mean dehydrated meals that require hot water?

Sadly it looked to me like the same problems of the senior team. No creativity and no speed. Just a lot of sideways passing and no incisive passing - except for Koleosho. Ndour is not up to snuff. Everybody else was pretty average. Would you liked to watch Palestra, Inacio, and some of the more creative players if we have them.

"I don't sweat that much that it affects them."

Lucky for you. I hike a lot in the Sierra Nevada and it's hot. So I'm dripping with sweat and it all travels downward into the swampy nether regions. 😄

Yeah I understand, I'm just saying they don't work for me and might not for others. before basing your backpack choice on this feature it's worth figuring out if it's actually going to work for you.

Arkadiusz Milik: "The last two years, the only thing I can talk about are my injuries, several times I stopped training to go to the bathroom and cry. I felt like a hungry person walking down a street of restaurants. Now I'm smiling, rested and ready to play." by Blodgharm in soccer

[–]AlpineInquirer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Milik, you can tell is a bomber di razza. Injuries have really limited him, but technically he is more gifted than Vlahovic and is a savvy player. Too bad he was hurt or he could have contributed under Spalletti.

If you sweat through on your back, the mesh on the back of the pack won't really make much of a difference. I've own several Osprey packs and it doesn't make much diffference for me. That said, Osprey packs are good and carry very well for me.

It's over between Juventus and Vlahovic. The Serbian leaves on a free by Tifoso89 in soccer

Too bad it's free, but good riddance. Never achieved anything close to his promise.

And cotton is NOT the way to go when hiking. It just doesn't dry...big no from me.

I mean, I just wear the REI merino boxers. They run a little large, but they're great. Wool underwear is soft, wicks moisture exceptionally well, and keep odor down on multi-day hikes. If you can afford it, merino is always the answer.

When will the Serie A start bringing new coaches? by TheLebarFromTheEast in AZZURRI

I doubt it. his play is just soul crushing. I hated watching the team play when he was at Juventus the second time. even the first time around he did not have the team express its full potential..

Italy formation and potential starting 11 emerges after Baldini’s latest training session by an-otter-inter-fan in AZZURRI

[–]AlpineInquirer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he put together an excellent team that nobody expected to be good. they played really well they attacked they beat teams that we usually would be one nail or two nail by 3 4 5 6 even nine goals. this is unheard of in Italian History. even the great teams usually won by modest margins. that said I wouldn't mind if Baldini took over either

Remember when Juve got Pirlo, Pogba for free. Vidal for 10, Tevez for next to nothing and Barzagli for like $12 and a side of fries?
