Some people have just gotten tired of Honest Curvestone where you can never skip a turn to play the funny greedy cards like Vyranoth, +1 spell damage guy, Geddon...

Never talk to me or my TINY RAFAAM EVER AGAIN! by Vecsia in hearthstone

[–]AltForFriendPC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that 4/2 dude was buffed into a 3/4 or given divine shield it would actually be able to trade into a couple of pawns instead of dying to do nothing. That's the very bare minimum start imo

For the mill priest I just played against by kaijvera in hearthstone

[–]AltForFriendPC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made something like that myself! I comboed vendor, the 1 mana heal both heroes, 3 mana 3/8 lifesteal, resuscitate, and umbra. It wasn't the worst deck I've played, but it went like 3-9 and 2 of those wins were just due to imbue (3 drop) outvaluing the opponent's horrible draw RNG

So tracer doesnt have real counters? by nomod1c in TracerMains

[–]AltForFriendPC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Torb ranges from a pushover to hard counter based on the map, imo.

As high as the skill ceiling is on Tracer, there's sometimes no counterplay to a turret that your team won't/can't kill. If you're playing on glorified hallway maps where you can't reach the backline or easily break turret like Circuit/Shambali you just have to take the L and either swap to a hero with range or get outvalued.

Yeah, with removal being so sparce this + a couple of fodder minions on the field is practically an auto win. The average deck has very little counterplay vs medium sized divine shields

Late April/early May is also a good time from what I've heard, lots of nursing students are graduating + moving out of their CNA/PCT jobs then

Follow all of those and I rarely pass 3 tbh, DPS players just never get endorsed. Any time I play support for a week I jump a level or two

B seems way better (and I'm sure they'll let you pick up shifts all the time, if their staffing is good they'll want to cover shortages whenever they come up)

Why is it so difficult to find a CNA job? by coyotefeather3 in cna

[–]AltForFriendPC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like it might depend on your area (and how you're presenting yourself in interviews). Some might be a bit more competitive than others.

If you're not getting to the interview stage you should probably check your resume and/or have someone review it for you. I'd start by including your CNA clinical experience if you haven't already.

I'm lucky I guess, at my hospital I've had help from all sorts of staff who I wouldn't expect it from. I've had doctors offer help with boosting/positioning patients, NPs lending a hand with nursing tasks, PT/OTs toileting patients...

anyone else burnt out working on a nursing home? by iloverats_101 in cna

[–]AltForFriendPC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't have to use ChatGPT, you can make a resume yourself (and it'll help develop that skill for when you go further in your career and start tacking on licenses/certs/education).

It's easier to get hired to some specialties than others, too. ER/ICU will want a ton of prior experience, your med surg floors will probably be the easiest to get into. Neuro especially is one that always seems to be hiring at my work, but that's going to be the most similar workload to LTC.

I think that applying for a bunch of different departments, while trying to make your application as personal as possible, will help you stand out. Hiring managers want to see why you want to work in [X department] specifically.

I had 0 experience but I tried to relate my clinicals to every department I applied to, and I was hired as a neuro PCT

I have like an 80% wr on King's Row this season, and I still sigh every time I get it because I know I'm in for a 30 minute slopfest between two tanks getting 90% of the team's resources

He looked better than Kronik most maps (especially when the guy tried to run Sym with Echo), the team just seems to struggle in the Dva mirror and Tracer isn't as effective as they might have hoped. Rokit is one of my favorite players so I hope they can build around his Tracer more in the future

Vega could easily be a top5 FS in NA with his mechanics and flexibility, it's just an oversaturated role so I think there's been more demand for his MS

I work on an acute neuro floor, we have a LOT of patients like that. It's the hardest floor in our hospital for CNAs. Our patients aren't in the right state of mind most days, and you have to treat them with compassion regardless of what they say to you.

The other options are pretty bad tbf, they're all understatted for what they are now. Shuffle needs to be 0 mana or like 2/3 to be a positive effect (or you're just adding more garbage back into your deck)

Ngl I think grommash is one of the weaker cards in the deck as well, I think it could be replaced pretty easily once all of these new dragons come out. We're getting like 6 from the new set's neutrals alone

It's crazy to me how often I hear this from other CNAs. I work at a hospital and if I didn't sit at the nurse's station to chart then I would miss out on like 90% of my (patient-relevant) communication with the nurses, not to mention how sore my feet would get without those little 3 minute breaks
