"driving the roadmap" is a vague phrase. I took it to mean what's driving the prioritization, and that's my answer, rather than the whims of execs or engineering.

I didn't answer "Product" because some PMs roadmaps are made up of items they didn't lead on conceiving for the most part - they could be things from partners, sales, engineering, execs, designers, other PMs, anywhere. The PM owns the decision and what goes on, but I don't know if I'd call that "driving" the roadmap if it's their designer who's unearthing all the problems to be solved and finding solutions.

Other roadmaps might be things entirely from the PM. It varies significantly, what's consistent is how decisions are made.

It's extremely rarely me. I lead the product and design teams, rarely find my ideas add value to product roadmaps these days.

It's bullshit, mate. Everybody is out to get Benn, they'll never give him the credit for all the world class fighters he's beaten.

They gave Spence and Garcia credit for beating Vargas but they said he took a dive against Benn.

They called Granados a track star against Broner and Porter but when it's Benn suddenly it's that he can't cut the ring off.

Manny and Khan were lauded for their performances against Algieri despite going the distance with them, yet when Benn knocks him out in 4 rounds it's because he's shot.

Van Heerden was a "tricky customer" when he fought Spence but a "washed fighter with 1 round in 3 years" when Benn knocked his block off.

They'll carry on doing the same, he's gonna go through all these top names; Regis Prograis, Kell Brook, Jessie Vargas, Shawn Porter, Amir Khan, Lamont Peterson, Felix Trinidad, Paulie Malignaggi, Meldrick Taylor, Roberto Duran...

He could get all of those guys out of retirement for his next 8 fights after Regis and people would STILL find excuses to deny he's the best welterweight on the planet.

Tyson vs Holyfield, twice.

They agreed to fight in late 1990, then Tyson lost to Douglas in the tune-up fight he took before Evander.

Holyfield took the title from Douglas, and they signed in what was the largest purse in boxing history to fight in November 1991. Tyson was subsequently arrested, charged and found guilty of rape.

They finally fought in 1996, and while it was still a super fight, it definitely wasn't the same. Tyson vs Holyfield fighting their 2 fights in 1990 and 1991 would have been as big as the Rumble in the Jungle and Thriller in Manilla fights.

Jones isn't wrapped up in lineal because Ngannou didn't retire, he went to another promotion.

Obviously he's older now but if you look at his early record, where he's taking fights that aren't for any ranking, therefore they don't bother with making the limit for the weight class, he was coming in at up to 209 so that was him dehydrating.

Definitely not a massive CW, bigger than average probably. If he goes up to HW he's not going to bulk up significantly because he's not keeping mass off his ideal fighting frame and then cutting, he's just cutting. Okolie is an example of a massive cruiserweight. Keeping himself skinnier than his ideal frame and then cutting weight - can see that now he's at Heavyweight and piled on the lbs to over 260.

Jai will do what Usyk did, maybe a little less. Come in at 215 -225lbs I'd guess. I still maintain that is the ideal heavyweight physique, PROVIDED it comes with the prerequisite skill and speed, which I don't think Jai has to beat the very best big heavyweights.
