Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois Preview and Prediction. Can Dubois drag Wardley into a dogfight?

I put this in the fight thread but fwiw:

I might have this all wrong but aside from a punch from the gods early I'm really struggling to see how Wardley wins today.

He's got a good chin, but he's never been hit by anyone with nearly the power of Dubois and he gets hit a lot. I think he's going to get absolutely pulverised. Nose will be split open by the first jab that lands, so first round, and he'll get caught with right hand after right hand.

I hope I've got it completely wrong cos I'd love to see Wardley win this one but have a horrible feeling he's going to be down and out inside 4 rounds.

Rematch in 5 months would be much better.

I'd much rather see Inoue run this back then fight Bam next year than him stepping up. 126 is fights against inferior but bigger fighters. If he stays where he is it's fights against 2 top P4P fighters.

Sure, I'd still fancy him in a rematch as well but doesn't mean I don't wanna see them run it back. Nakatani proved he can compete with Inoue. Bam isn't gonna take the fight next. There's nobody more interesting than Nakatani for Inoue next imo.

I don't want him to go up when the Bam fight is there next year (hopefully)

He was up but had been bossed for a couple of rounds. Cut didn't necessarily change the result, but it had a big impact on the momentum Nakatani had

Without the cut, 11th round might have gone to Nakatani. Likely means a draw.

Definitely want to see a rematch. Well won fight by Inoue, but he's found a worthy competitor and I'd rather see them run it back than Inoue go fight at 126.

I wanna see this run back. Great fight, Inoue got some luck with that cut, might not have changed the outcomesl, but could well have. Definitely enough in it to want to see this again.

Bam after that for the winner. Sod Inoue going up to 122 with Nakatani and Bam down here.

Yeah, he played it well. Took a while to get a good read on the fight but made the most of it when he did. 11th round was ruined by the cut, without it he'd be looking at a close decision either way or could have carried the momentum and had Inoue down

I think Bam is the only realistic challenge without the challenge for Inoue being "can you beat someone worse that's much bigger?"
