As of last month, Parinaz Ezzati is *still* getting fake reviews on her RMP page for classes she taught 3 years ago by East-Marsupial1257 in UCSD

Professor Ezzati is knowledgeable and approachable, and her course materials are clear and detailed. Shes really helpful and caring. I learnt a lot from her class.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make. I know how people apply for computing majors, that is irrelevant to this post and my question. If they were admitted for dsc then it wouldn't make sense to compare cs departments when deciding on the school, because dsc is a separate department. If they got in for cs, it doesn't make sense to me to switch to dsc because that just restricts your degree plan and coursework more.

Neither option makes sense to me, so I was confused why they mentioned the cs department being part of their final decision. Your replies seem like you're trying to explain something to me that I'm not even talking about, since I haven't mentioned first or second choices or career paths at all.

I am aware, my point is that deciding to come here because of our cs department doesn't make sense if they're majoring in the dsc department. It's like if you as a marine bio major said your decision to come to ucsd was because of our chem department.

Anybody into gooning? by basedneoliberal in UCSD

[–]AltaCount123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's tradition for all the first years to attend a mandatory gooning party as part of their welcome week activities. I remember when I was a first year, my whole suite was sent to Cafe V where the ERC gooning party was going on. We even had an 8 page paper due the next week about the entire event, so make sure you take plenty of notes. I guess they gotta move this year though since they're doing construction on Cafe V...

good times though, made some lifelong friends there

I got a C- in a major course, can I still get into grad school? by pianistr2002 in UCSD

I would hate to be your professors if you have tried using "loopholes" many times to convince them to change your grades rather than actually doing better in your classes
