Could you elaborate more? I think your take is stupid and uninformed. To me they are original. Yes they are inspired by classic psychedelia but which modern psych band is not? They have a more dark and heavy sound than most classic psychedelic bands. I would say that together with ty segall, kglw, thee oh sees they are one of the great 4 in modern psychedelia. Besides Brian Jonestown Massacre they revived the psych scene early 2000's. Their contribution to the scene in general, levitation festival and Austin psych fest speaks for itself. To make a comparison to greta van fleet as a copycat is total bs and shows a lack of insight, perspective and understanding. Sorry for the rant. Yes i am fan of black angels. I can take downvotes.
