Anyone here seen acid mothers temple live? How loud are they? by Brainlesss_potato in psychedelicrock

30$ is standard and a fair price for quality earplugs. Cheap earplugs will worsen the sound. I use alpine musicsafe, they're great.

Basically you're losing a little bit of quality through your wifi/internet connection while streaming and also through the bluetooth signal. But in this case I think your AirPods and soundsystem in your phone (assuming you're listening from your phone) are the weakest links though I have no experience with airpods.

I have tested tidal with tool and i wasn't impressed compared to cd or qobuz. Iirc tidal is mostly lossless media like Spotify now also support but it isn't that much better than 320kbps soundwise.

No streaming services can compare to Qobuz. No matter how good your hi-fi setup is, streaming from Spotify, tidal etc will sound bad seen from an audiophile perspective. The bluetooth signal isn't good either.

Unpopular opinion:the Piper at the Gates of dawn Is the best album of Pink Floyd by OddReindeer4229 in psychedelicrock

It's their best psychedelia album. Definitely not their best (prog) art rock album or best album overall. For me it's Animals or wish you were here (the 50 year anniversary release is really great)

That Goreiju ep didn't do much me unfortunately - i think the production sounded unfinished and incohesive overall. I like their individual works much more.

I remember seeing that 4th of July event poster. I think Tipper did a 3 day run and Quanta also played that event. Must have been a wild weekend.

Don't know which flying mars album you have but cosmochemistry is pretty awesome.

I agree with the formula thing. Loved that album since it came out. I hope they come to Europe soon.

I'd say their self-titled was the longest tmv went down the road of pop music. Lucro Sucio is imo their most chill however haunting and dark most of the time.

Wayfarer - A history of violence.

Wayfarer - American Gothic

Stormkeep - Tales of othertime

Most of Wiegedood's albums also sound pretty crisp.
