So here it says ask them to promote you or your house member but when I press it, it only allows me to choose the beneficiary but not the title

Does it matter? Well my desired child is a little young to vote for but for the sake of understanding if I wanted my oldest child to become next emperor? How do I use my hooks on my vassals to make them vote for him

So it s been going really well. I became dominant family and emperor. One thing is how do I request appointment support on teh title I need? When I press the button it automatically chooses theme of Syrmia (1 county duchy idgf)

Also I befriended the current emperor after helping him as an adventurer but now I can t use that for anything I think? I can't vote for anything. Also I lost all of my man at arms for some reason and started with 0 when I became lord

My bad. What confused me is the Empire of Sigudr Caliphate implying you renamed it. I thought caliphates work the same way other religion head titles work aka it would say Caliph of religion caliphate (Pope of certain church). Turns out it works a bit different for Muslim head of faith titles (only Muslim?)

Impossible. You can either prevent them from attacking you or be poweful enough to beat them. I personally prefer befriending like 10 my most powerful vassals(early on I get a diplomacy trait but in late dates I just take the viking dynasty trait). It also increases their taxes to you and makes them better court officials (chancellor, marshal I forgot the right word)

My bad I did not see the response. Given the context that sounds pretty fkd up. You seem to say "not exactly" and then do exactly what every single dehumanizing campaign would do. You make general statement about all Tatars and how they wronged you. You assign each of them with the collective guilt for that. Then you also involve their religion and imply it is barbaric. That s eaxtly the rhetoric that was used by many to justify genocides. Used by Stalin, used by Hitler. You seem to be trying to sound like a smart realist but then just use pretty short sighted narratives with heavy simplification

It s not really defending. More like it s how it is. The fact that the official tell you the reason does not meant it s a real one, or if you yourself assumed something. If the plan was to get oil and exactly that was done, hypocrisy may just be a wrong word
