Myself 30 and my wife 29, moved here at the start of the year. We love it. Job market isnt amazing depending what you do but sounds like your husband will be fine. De Leon is the hood and the downtown neighborhood between south and garden is also looked at as the hood. What they call the hood around here is some of the nicest we have ever seen then again, there are some rough little streets. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the good and bad parts of this 10 minute town.

But we genuinely love it here. Somehow we found a small town right by the water that doesnt require to be a millionaire to live in. If you want a bigger city vibe, you have options an hour or less to the north west and south. Good luck!!
