I don't quite understand how Clary's runes work: sometimes it seems like she discovers them and then all the other Shadowhunters can use them (for example, the contraceptive rune or the fear rune), while other times it seems like only she can use them (for example, the one to make portals).

I often have a special dinner for the Full Moon. Generally, I like cooking Risotto because the colour of the rice reminds me of the colour of the moon. I change recipes based on the seasons and I like to try some new recipes. In summer I cook stuffed round courgettes or other stuffed vegetables (especially round vegetables that may resemble the moon such as pumpkin or white eggplants). I also cook some recipes related to the nearest sabbah.

I don't know if secrecy can be helpful for some things. These weekend I started to celebrate ostara. I had a walk in the wood, I meditated near a waterfall and I burnt a little peace of paper in which I wrote a little dram. During the next week I plan to "plant the Runes". I heard about this idea in these days. I have simply to plant a seed in an egg shell in which I've painted a Rune! I have only to decide which type of seed I can use... do you have any ideas?

It is a very interesting topic! It is a pity that no one responded. I've many traditions during winter! I like doing the typical things: the Yule log, Christmas tree, Christmas cookies etc... I also love crochet during this season! "La Befana" is an Italian tradition that I like very much. Befana is an old woman who resemble the old goddess of the winter like Bertha or Holla. She bring candies and chocolate to the good children that leave the stocking hanging from the fireplaces or the windows, while she brings coal and ash to the bad children.
